im really freaked out about the amount of yaoi refferences in kids animes.
its likes gay romance turns on Jgirls like Lesbians do most men. I wonder why? like they should have a few studies on it.
Your avatar is an image which reflects your personality or an aspect of it. Minitokyo recommends against putting a female avatar if you are a male, and likewise for the other gender.

I watch shounen-ai and shoujo-ai sometimes, but I've never watched an actual yaoi/yuri series before. I am a big fan of shounen-ai in particular, though.

This just now caught my eye- 3 weeks 6 days, I feel like I'm kicking it just in time! lol
I've seen the first season of MariMite which is basically light shoujo-ai; there's some occasional kissing scenes, but it doesn't go past that so far. If you take that element out, it functions as somewhere between a sweet love story, and a tension-filled drama; it does very well at taking plot elements far enough to hold the viewer's interest without dominating the whole series.
So far that's all I've seen, but I will chase down Kannazuki no Miko one of these days. I have a serious weakness for mikos...

I've watched Kanazuki no Miko and it freaked the living days out of me...This would've been one of my favorites if it wasn't for the yuri part. Second would be the anime called Sukisyo, Holy Moses, all of my hair in my skin stood and gave me the chills after watching the first episode, man talk about freakiness.

yuri = female x femalei dont think i've watched any yuri before and im sure i didnt see any yaoi hahaha

Just started watching and reading the new anime / manga girl meets girl. It doesnt go too far, it is just a fun romance to watch.

Mai Hime and Otome ( I know theses aren't totally Shoujo-ai, but Natsuki X Shizuru are all it nedds)
And some others that doesn't show it but it's implied...Tsuyoi chikara ga sekai wo kaeru, tsuyoi chikara ga hitobito wo mamoru.

well i have seen shoujo-ai (mai otome) but i am currently watching 2 "yuri" animes.
Girl meets Girl- classified as yuri but imo is only shoujo-ai but what do you call anime where a boy turns into a girl from aliens and still goes after women?
Simoun- haven't seen much but it is still yuri with the randomness of 2 girls must kiss to start their ship.
so yeah i like both yuri and shoujo-ai have seen some less desirable yuri style stuff in hentai and it almost turned me away forever but then i came back

Wow. I didnt know there were that many yaoi animes out there. Ive only ben able to watch Loveless and Sukisyo which arent realy yaoi but Shounen ai.

I will admit that I saw Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito not knowing it was a yuri type show. v_v however I choose not to see yuri though since I am a female I was curious about the yaoi. So I have seen a few of those, ^_~ they are .... interesting. I will leave it at that.

I saw Maria-sama Ga Miteru without knowing it was a yuri anime. And my friend offered to let me borrow Gravitation (he's straight, by the way). But that was before I got into anime (and before I even knew what yaoi anime was), so I declined. I realize now that it was a wise decision.
Ideas...without actions, are worthless.
