Cute (at least when applied to the feminine gender) is more of a hey-she's-good-looking type of beauty. It's more of a moderate form. Beautiful is a classy-dressy-damn-you-look-nice kind of beauty. More like a formal-ball, aristocratic beauty, higher than cute, less than gorgeous (which is the mouth-hang-open-speechless type of beauty)

Pretty is something like beautifull, but softer, like something you say to your litle sister if she buy's a new dress. Beautiful is something that you say to grown up girls like you look beautiful, gorgeous is something higher than beautiful, If you think she's the best dressed girl you've ever known,
nice is something lower than cute and pretty, like you don't give a f*ck about what she's wearing!! :P
