We had a chat in class just a few days ago on this subject and i was wondering on what you guys would think. Is it good or bad? Would you go with it? What would you do?

It is a procedure of last resort. But any attempt to prohibit it is oppressive. All arguments in favour of its prohibition turn out to be assuming that everyone else should follow the arguer's religion, that the Earth is dangerously underpopulated by humans, or that killing any creature in the animal kingdom should also be prohibited. None of which are sustainable credible positions.
