I agree. This series to me, it's one of the most emotional anime i have watched to date. While it may start off slow. But later on, the story picks up and it becomes very dramatic. With indepth characters whom you will actually care for. Terrific storyline. Not to mention having a great soundtrack. Full Moon Wo Sagashite is definitely recommended to anime fans. XD

I have been looking forward to seeing this one for quite a while myself, but the fact that Viz got it makes my soul cringe. I absolutely hate their releases and I know the way they do business. So I'm going to hold off initially because they'll screw all the early buyers with a great boxset down the line.

I'm gonna buy this too. ^^ Partly too laugh at the english dub(that's a given) and of course to enjoy this great anime again(at japanese). ^^ Cause it's gonna get a dual audio-track, right? I think I read that somewhere..
