Alone in a dark room
the only sound is a soft low song repeating
My heart beating to the slow rythem
my breath just as slow
eyes closed and arms to my side
as my soul fights to be free
wanting to soar high
above the clouds among the birds
wishing i could spread my wings
and fly as one with them
after along wait here is another poem for those who read them :)
hope you enjoy and critique if you want
oh i like how the image seem to be contrasting from something very dark and lonely... to an image of hope and freedom.. pretty cool! sugoi! XD

Yay, another poem...lol. I must say, I completely understand the feeling you are trying to portray, hopefully. Your are tired of doing the same old thing and want to do something different and exciting. That something different is what makes you feel alive and liberated. Good poem :)

Another point of view doesn't necessarily make yours more or less right.
