Well my first wall was deleted but I'm not completly sure why. Any comments would be helpfull.

first off I used 3DS MAX 7 on a wallpaper I made a while back and I thought it would make a good BG for this wall so I blended them together with some color changes. I also modded the anime pic. (removed the wings and smoothed some outlines) I'm new to photoshop cs so any help would be great.

looking at the wallpaper there that you have made it looks very basic, you cannot see the 3d design you made on the background and it looks more like a cloud effect with a light effect over it. the scan ios very nice crisp and clean apart from the finger above the ring where the outline seems to dissapear and reapear just looks alittle odd.

i would suggest doing something else with the background so that it doesnt just look like a bright cloud effect. the colour you have chose compliments the scan nice but on first glance it does look very simplictic.

you may also want to add some type to the image to the left of the scan with the name of the wallpaper there or something relating to the wallpaper

Like twistedfreak said, the wall itself feels empty, more cloud filter than 3D effects. Also, I'm not sure the 3D effect would work with the scan.

2 responds? any other idea's or advice? maybe I should stick with 3d design. I was hoping to broaden my horizon with something else.

As others have said, the wall looks and feels empty/missing...since you're going for a "wedding" feel, perhaps you can add more flowers/vines. for instance, you could put a white arch or a gazebo with roses/vines/flowers that she could be standing under. i don't know, there's lots of things you can choose for your bg...

you did a good job on the colors though ^_^

it is very pretty, but boring. even some light effects and sparklies would be okay. I like the flowers idea too. This is a really hard image to wall, I've tried and it either looks too empty or too busy. I love the colors in your BG, don't change that, just add to it. Tastefully.
