it looks great, better than the old ps1 prerendered movie. (as far as i know this was clamed to be real time graphics).
sorry a bit off topic,
actually the console should turn out to be awesome but if the recents reports are correct there are some points that look controvertial to me in regard to the hard and software.

The tech demo has been out there for quite a while. It was used to not only raise hype for the potentials of the PS3 but to test fan support behind a remake of FF7. The support has been good for a remake, but it's been said that making one right now that has the graphical capability of that tech demo would take years and way too much money to produce. But that we may see it as the system gets easier to develop for.
As for the PS3 being that powerful, I'm sceptical. They had a similar tech demo for the PS2 featuring the dance scene of FFVIII, and it looked damn near as good as this one did. While the PS2 looked fairly good I think it could never push the graphical madness of the FFVII tech demo. Here's to hoping I'm wrong though.

If you ask me computers will always best the consoles in graphics. Though seeing the xbox360's graphics for Call of Duty 2 it looks pretty near to the tech demo for FF7. So assuming the PS3 will be near or surpassing the xbox360 I say the tech demo is some what accurate.

according to an interview at 1up.com, they are going to remake FF7.. when they get around to it.. so maybe next year. Would be hawt if that were a launch title though.

I saw this tech-demo a while back and I thought it was good.It would have been kewl if a remake was in da werks but Sony officials have already announced that the FF7 demo is only a tech-demo and that there is no plan for a re-make for the game as of yet. They only said that a remake is a good idea but no official statement was released saying "YES, there will be a re-make for FFVII."

I liked killzone with the AI and gameplay just hoping get to play as the Helghast in the second one. :). And yes a remake for FF7 would be awesome and would be a best seller again then again a remake is not definite but seems like it since if sony doesn't well just makes them look like idiots.

Wow, this is so cool. The graphics are so well done just like FF7:AC. Too bad, this is only for PS3..which I'm probably not gonna get. :(

They said that they was in haste and could do beter demo if they got more time. Makes me think that if remake not event started and not plans in near future than its can be 3-4 more years to see it. And about PS3 its a must )) steal, borrow but you must have it $_$ 2 bad that final date is november T_T oh well i waited so much and i can wait a bit more. ))
