Although a little rare, I know that there are some animes and H-games that include H-scene toward Christian nuns or takes place in church, chapel, or something like it. Moreover, the nuns are often not as the object, but as the subject themselves (I mean, horny nuns.) Do you think it is a little ... annoying and insulting? I know, Christianity is not common among Japaneses, but I think hentai toward religious thing is a little too much. Why only toward them? Why don't they make such toward another religion? E.g: scenes in mosque, synagogue, or even a h-game/anime that takes place in Vatican? Is there another fetishm called nun-fetism here?

Im not religious at all and christianity is proberbly my least favirout of them all but like you say it is insulting and does cross the boundry of good taste, and as far as the fetish go there is just some screwed up stuff in this world

Hentai has something for everybody... at least everybody that is interested at all in hentai. Is it going over the line? I don't think so. I mean think about, you are watching hentai in first place. A genre that revels most of the time in it's over the top nature. Abuse, rape, homesexuality; it's all there. It is all about showing some boot knocking, doesn't matter how it is.

Look if you don't want to watch it don't, i don't, but it is under freedom of expression. So they have a lot of sterotypes in animes just realize if you don't like it don't watch it. Though i have nothing against people who watch hentai.
