Hey people! I realize that there are alot of RPG's these days, but i haven't posted anything for an excrutiatingly long time, so have fun with this one and remember anything along the storyline is welcome!

Story:
The setting takes place in modern day in the hell and earth realms. After the Great Battle of Legacy, the vampire clans wanted revenge for loosing to the Demons. Meanwhile on Earth, Guardian angels are trying to repaire the balance between good and evil that was tipped to the evil side after the deamons took over as supream rulers of hell. The world is filled with hate, and humans ( the vampires food source) are quickly becoming an extinct species. However a rare love still exists between the most unlikely of species; a human and a vampire. unfortunatly this vampire keeps getting pulled away by his clan leader, leaving his love open to harm from any other evil.

Weapons: 2 Colt .45 Magnum, Jungle Bolo. Other stuff I can get my hands on.
Transport: Armored Truck with all manner of techie and arcane junk inside.
Details: One of the last surviving human mystics and also an adept in lost technologies. The 20 years of my life was spent in training in various elemental colleges of magic and the technology of gunsmithy and mechatronic engineering. My knowledge of the synergy between magic and technology is a force to reckon with. I also have a grey cat familiar, go figure.

Details: A demon slayer whose family was killed by demons during the war. He also has a Phoenix sprit sealed within him. the fire powers he uses to fight with come from this entity. when he fully transforms (when he gets really pissed) his eyes become red with cat-like pupils and flaming wings extrude from his back.

Weapons: Katana, Darts, Body
Details: Out to absorb the souls of others to attain great powers (as well as the abilities of the souls of the victim). he can call out spirits to help him (but would rather just absorb them and use the powers for himself) as well as use psychic abilites to read the minds of others. highly dangerous,especially when mad. as for souls, the soul absorption process can only take place when the person is dead.

oh wait, can also use souls to posess another person if its stronger than the other person's soul... AND.......can use his own soul to posess another person (but only if he is mentally stronger than the other person) but then crim is not concious when he himsilf is possessing another person. can teleport, creat illusions, and become invisible.

Why do you need "main characters". The story should just start, and whoever posts the most, and does the most, the story will pretty much automatically revolve around them.

I can easily see this thread degrading into just another restricted version of "Elemental Battles", or a variant of "Forest of Anaten". But for the moment, I may as well tag along, until it gets too wierd. By the way, I'm not very active, so won't be doing too many posts.

Detail: Because of his unusual inability to use light magic, he was often looked down upon by other angels. Travelling to earth to escape from the life of scorn, he found and joined the Order of the Mage Dragoons, where he discovered that he was particularly talented at wielding the lance. He also became interested in lightning magic, and developed his skills in both styles of war. Oblivious to the situation on the divine scale, he is abruptly dragged into the war when the Order of the Templars are attacked by a clan of vampires. Only a handful of the Order survived, and now, Kyoku leads the revenge-driven warriors in a life of vengeance.

But it would be nice if we have a goal to follow, so that there would be somehing to accomplish for the players.
Like, say, reach the gates of heaven at wherever place to end the misery and torment of the world... something like that.

Appearance: Light blue shoulder-length hair, sparkling sapphire blue eyes, a smaller fragile looking build and an innocent smile, Rachel could have passed for an ordinary school girl except for the angelic white wings that sprout from her back that hint at her angelic origin and yet, there were also traces of demonic wings amidst them, which suggest at a darker nature.
Weapon: A broadsword that flashes with light, and a Murasume blade that cuts a swarth of darkness
Details: An Angel that took the lure of power that the Darkness offered, Rachel offered her soul to the Demons forn a fraction of their power. As a result, she was banished from her clan, Souls of Epity and viewed as an outcast. Even yet, she does no completely belong to the Darkness. Indeed, she retains traits prevalent of both races. However, it seems that her Angelic side remains dominant, and yet there are some that suspect that the Dark side of her has never subsided...

Say, maybe we should set a date for this story to start?
Or we could be waiting forever...

im gonna do a little introductry mini-story of my character. i am after all, a loner. I'll join up later.

*Walking down what used to be the southern part New York city, now called The City of the Damned, maverick stares at the carnage. the windows have fallen from the buildings and crashed on the ground, the wind blows through here all the time creating dust storms and whirlwinds of debris, cars have been ripped apart and thrown aside. Something crunches under his feet. he looks down to see that he has stepped on what used to be a human skull. He suddenly hears a woman's sream and runs toward the sound to find a demon attacking a young girl.*
Maverick: Hey! leave her alone...
Demon:(in several different voices at once) Oh? And what are you going to do if i dont?
Maverick: I'll destroy you.
Demon: I'd like to see you try!
* the demon charges at maverick, but maverick simply holds up his hand*
maverick: Adrea!
Demon: Wh-what!? I-I can't move. D-d-damn y-you.
*maverick walks over and punches the demon in the face and he flies backward onto his back still paralized*
Demon: ARGGHH!
*maverick walks over, kneels down and places his hand over the demon's body*
maverick: You lose. Sic vis paracu exrosa aredu parabela atreya!
* the ground glows red with a pentagram and ancient letters*
Demon: AHHHHH! NO!
*the ground glows brighter and a beam of red light appears from the ground, the demon is pulled back into the pit*
Maverick: Well, that's that.
* he looks at the girl and begins to walk over to her*
maverick: you ok?
* as maverick said that, the ground started to shake. The exact place where maverick had sent the demon back was glowing, but the portal letters were reversed. a gateway to the earth for demons. the red light began to show once again but it got bigger.*
maverick: aww hell. A trap. And hear i thought today would be boring.
*seven demons appeared out of the light*
Demon1: hehehe. so you fell for our trap, eh exorcist?
Demon2: But there are more of us.
Demon5: so what do you plan to do now?
Maverick: Hmmm, well, after thinking it over, i think the best plan is...this.
* maverick draws a custom 44 mag. pistol and a desert eagle 50 cal. pistol and unload seven shots. the demons fall with a smoking hole in each of their skulls. within seconds of hitting the ground they ignite and burn away*
maverck: damn. i wanted to save these bullets. their a pain in the ass to make. oh, well.
Girl: ummm...t-thank you for saving me.
mavcerick: no problem. its what i do. come on lets get you to the good side of town.

Okay, okay, fine i give in. The story can start now, and i guess the objective will be to have the final battle for either total evil or total good domination. ( Think Hell boy's destiny against the garden of eden for the final result.) Any new people can join in when they see fit.

She had been watching the whole scene from the roof top of a partially demolished sky scraper, only accesable by her long, slick black majestic wings. She then threw back her long siver-white hair and extended her hand to the demon slayer. " There arn't many of us who still fight for the ones who can't fight for themselves anymore.The angels are to busy with trying to bring down the major clans, and mortals no longer have the strength or numbers to fend for themselves. My name is Rayne, what might yours be?"

Because we don't have enough people, unless you want to do a quick thing by yourself, then come into the main setting. And by quick i mean an account of your past or a short scene (like Mavericks). Otherwise everyone will just be doing there own thing seperatly, and thats not very relevent to working toward the initial goal.

If you read the "Forest of Anaten" thread, it all works out in the end (by degrading into PVP), but we'll see what happens.

*Having finally defeated the hunger-driven Vampire clan, but at the cost of losing his only companions, Kyo staggers onwards in a daze, unaware of his surroundings*
*Travel-worn cloak billowing in the wind, Kyo walks smack into the ruins of a wall, collapsing backwards with a grunt, resigning himself to death*
*Glowing white and black runes begin to appear in a circle on the ground around him, peeling up off the ground to spin around and above Kyo in a weaving dance*
*Suddenly, literally out of the blue, a massive skeletal hand swings out of the sky, scooping Kyo, part of the ground, and the rubble surrounding him up into the air*
*The hand unceremoniously flings the unconcious Kyo over and out of the desert, waving once before vanishing*
*The runes, which had somehow managed to follow Kyo's rocketing path, spin around into a protective sphere, as Kyo begins to lose altitude and starts falling down*
*In a blazing comet of brilliant white light, Kyo smashes down right into the centre of the Necropolis in the centre of the City of the Damned, destroying the diseased foundation of the structure, which in turn collapses the entire structure in a massive spray of dust and debris*
*Kyo groggily steps up and out of the rubble, noticing that he was feeling quite healthy aside from the softened concussion of impact*
*He looks up at the dark clouds, wondering to himself how he had gotten here*

Appearance: neck length blonde hair, frozen green eyes, 5'7 ft tall with pure human looks with white complexion, wearing black ninja suit, red lace tied at the right arm and a silver katana with black sheath at the back.
Weapons: silver ninja katana, silver shurikens & normal ones, a silver dagger & a normal one, silver claw on the right hand & normal one at the left, a boomerang, a pair of katar hidden at my back, a 45 caliber pistol with silver bullets & some silver needles.
Details: daughter of a male ninja vampire & a female human princess, both parents were killed by my father's clanmates,
he was a member of the Shadow Vampire Clan and was hated when they found out that he married a human princess... both of them were assassinated one night when I was 5 years old...
because of me being a half vampire & half human, I gained resistance against direct exposure to sunlight (but still weakened by it when exposed for a long period of time) and from silver weapons... although I can still be killed by those, I was trained by a vampire friend of my father who was also from the same clan as him... trained as a ninja although its very rare nowadays... and I lived to avenge my parents... thats why as you noticed I have silver weapons with me... and that is to hunt down the Shadow Vampire Clan... also because of me being a halfbreed, I dont need blood to live... I was given the body of a human wherein I eat the same food as them, but was given the ability & strength of a vampire, I can also drink fresh human blood in order to regain my lost strength and heal myself but its something I never did... with my anti vampire weapons in hand I travel the world fighting against evil vampires and protecting the human race as I hide my real identity of having the blood of a vampire in my veins...
now I walk in a civilized town not knowing what awaits me...

Nishino: *appears infront of him* did you say "its your lucky day"?
Vampire: why you! *punches with full strength towards me*
Nishino: *easily dodges his attack* are you on a clan?

Nishino: from what clan are you?
Vampire: the hell like I'd tell you!
Nishino: *eyes turn to red* hell eh... thats where I'm going to send you! *draws silver katana* Goodbye... *hastly punctures my katana through his heart*

Nishino: may you rest in peace... *turns back to normal*

well then I have to get going fast....
