MSI Geforce 4 Ti4200 cable needed.

Cancel

I've been looking for the MSI TV_OUT connector C&S (9 pin) for a few weeks and can't seem to find one for sale. I have looked on the net (MSI, Ebay, etc.)but had no luck. If anybody can help that would be great. thanks :)

The reason I need a new one is kind of funny hehe, my dog ate it. XD

You can use a regular S-Video cable to connect to your TV. If your TV has only composite ports (yellow colour), get an SVideo-to-RCA cable. They work great with mine. Those other extra pins are only for video input (which capability you do not have) so you won't compromise quality at all.

I don't know why you need a new cable but I've heard of people chewing off their cables (just like cats). :D

Yeah.....that is a easy fix........ :)

S-video cables are good (right up until you bend a pin). Although I have both, I prefer the S-Video to RCA due to the many combinations use can hook up to.

Thanks for the help, but my card will only accept a 9 pin. a standard s-video cable will not plug in. When I bought the card it came with an connector that would let me plug in the s-video.
