I already know that Kyo and Tohru have a thing for each other, he even kissed her when she got hurt from falling off that cliff. I'm not going to argue anything over that departmant, but I do think Yuki is my favorite character! I know he has trouble opening up, but I think that has more to do with the torment Akito put him through as well as when Ayame left him, when Yuki needed him the most, as a child.(Of course our beloved Ayame is trying to make up for that! :) ) Yuki struggles with peoples expectations of him as the rat. He puts on a smile and acts prince-like so the people don't see his more hurting, less perfect side. I mean, Akito used to beat on poor Yuki when he was a child, screaming at him everyday about how nobody would ever care for him and that he was nothing. There's only so much of that a person can take! His mother would also claim that he doesn't measure up to his title, and again, that he's worthless. To sum it all up, I think I like Yuki the most because he has the courage to stand up and move on even after all the torment he's been put through. He doesn't seek a shoulder to lean on because he doesn't agree with pushing his problems on to others. He's truly gentle, loving, and considerate of others, which makes him more of a prince than he thinks he is. :)

i really think that the combination of Tohru x Kyo is so prefect... they r both tickheaded sometimes and they r so CUTE together! i like yuki but no way near how much i wuv ^^ neko-chan =sobs and ran away= ^^;;

I'm sorry, I think that Yuki and Tohru make a better couple. I like him better. Kyo.... While Tohru may do somehting for Kyo, I think that Yuki works better with her personality. And while I know that the two of them will probably end up together if she gets together with any of the Sohma guys, I still wish it would be Yuki.

Let's see. I would really like better to see Tohru with Kyo (just because I like Kyo better and probably he only opens up to Tohru, he also has a nice way to know her).
Some weeks ago, I was quite afraid it wouldn't be the case because even if Kyo seems closer to Tohru, he seems more like a best friend for me while Tohru seems more charmed by Yuki.

The reason I think kyo is winning the battle, is because of the fact that yuki only appeals to certain ppl that can associate with his rare personality, whereas kyo has a more of a general appeal, that is still more desirable in the event of one not understanding the inner workings of his personality/mentality. In Yukis case, I guess youd have to understand where hes coming from in order to find any likeable or attractive attributes.

Woah! Very heated up discussions! ^_^;...well my opinion is that Yuki is alot better that Kyo...but Kyo should be with Tohru...because...I don't know...it just seems better...and also I really think that Tohru is annoying...and a bit too naive/stupid...the Kyo and Tohru pair seem to be more amusing...just imagine him trying to handle her while she's all annoying with being all sorry about something...I think Yuki is too good for her ^_^...oh and I think Yuki would be able to beat Kyo in a fair fight...yeah...so in the end I don't really like Tohru, Kyo is okay, I love Yuki, Yuki would beat Kyo in a fight, and the Tohru and Kyo pair is okay. ^_^

lol, I just read all the arguments here. I must say that first I wanted that Tohru stayed with Yuki.. but after reading a little more, I changed my mind. Kyo deserves Tohru, much more than Yuki. They look so pretty and a perfect couple together. And...
*SPOILER* PLEASE DON"T READ IF YOU HAVEN"T SEEN THE MANGA 11 YET> (His way of saying that loves Honda was soo much more touching than Yuki's. I got tears in my eyes..) I love that anime! But to answer your question. I would have to say Yuki. Because he is a calm fighter and looks for his opponents weekness. Kyo on the other hand just fights like theres no tommorow. Yuki and Kyo rocks!
