My username is actually my letter writing a.k.a. back when I was in elementary and jr. high. My friends and I would always sign our letters with a different name because that way if a teacher or unwanted eyes would see it, they wouldn't know the writer. X-P It stuck with me and now I use it for a lot of things. Not to mention that it's just a pretty name period. :) If I was rightly informed, it means 'Karen' in Hawaiian.

Im from mexico, were many words in english are bastardized (i think that word was used right, but i don't care it sounds cool). Merol is a bastardization of Metal and in mexico it means something that is heavy in a cool sense, like you can say that this metal band is "MEROL" or Hellsing is "MEROL". wow.. a lot of useless explanation... I did not use that word in my name in that sense anyway. puromerol just means pure metal and that is because I like heavy metal and i want life to be just "MEROL"

"Lura-Sharal" is the name of a character from a book I read once (The last Dragonlord 2 - Dragonheart) I was searching for a new username because I wanted to get rid of a guy who was following me to every forum I went to. He was terrorozing me - it was horrible v.v so I left every forum, in which I was known under my former username. i changed my mail address and everything - now everything's fine ^^

"Lura-Sharal" was a quick decision. I was paging through that book and I thought it sounded quite nice *smile*

ahha well if any of you guys played Warcraft then try switching the position of craft and war. So from there it ended up being my nick Craftedwars haha ^^ but really the original reason was for a newspaper project and me n my group needed a name so we went tru lots n lots of names and i was sitting there thinking of names until it hit me, why not twist n turn the names or words we know n WALA! warcraft=craftedwars n the meaing is different and it original ahaha

My user name should be no surprise; one of my favorite Transfers was the autobot Jazz. I always thought of him as the really cool Transformer and if he was a human, he would have to be Black(and he was voiced by none other than the late Scatman Crothers. He was the Black guy who was axed to death in "The Shining". Also keep in mind that I was about six years old when I thought of this, so no replies about me being a racist). Oh yeah, and I thought it was pretty cool that he transformed into a car by doing a push-up.

Pfenix is the name of my domain, so it's just practical for me to use it.

I also like how it's spelled; I originally found it in Gregory Maguire's novel, Wicked, which is one of my favorite books.

Ah, well, my friend "S" and I were at the library, and she wanted me to join Minitokyo, like her, so we got time on the computer, and I was in a sort of rush to come up with *something* for a username, so I just went with what I was fascinated with at the time: Trigun, and Nicholas D. Wolfwood, the gun totin' preacher dude of the anime and manga-however, I am, as my sparse profile will tell you, female, so I went with what I have now. Sometimes, I wish I could alter it to a variant of what it is now, make it not so stereotypical.

Bit of a story here....

I picked mine up back when I was still a Cadetling... mate that's a long time ago, good eight years now. I was a massive Star Wars fan at the time, and read the "Wraith Squadron" series of books. So did a couple of my friends, consequently I was given the nickname "Wes" as in Wes Janson due to my general total inability to take virtually ANYTHING seriously.

Jump forward a few months. I went to an aero-gumby course (R/C flying) with the then AIRTC. While there I met up with another cadet, also a Wraith Squadron fan who had been given the rather derogatory nickname of "Piggy". So cut a long story short it turned out that in the novels "Piggy" and "Wes" were wingmen and we spent the week calling each other by "Eleven" and "Twelve", their respective squadron numbers (yeah, Uber Star Wars Geekout). Since "Wes" is usually taken by the time I get to a forum I use "wraith11".

hey, could have been worse. Could have been worse, could have used my OTHER cadets nickname, which was "Harry", and I don't think you need more than two braincells to bash together to figure that one out. Here's a hint: I'm skinny, have messy black hair and wear glasses.

lol and here i was thinking our prime minister (from the netherlands) was the only one that looked like harry potter :D.

i thought up mine when i decided to create a new email account after my hotmail one got infected with a virus. i really have no idea what happened. i just thought that fool was a funny word and i figured that the biggest fool was a superfool and my nick was born. i have been using it ever since, mainly because as af as i know i am the only one that uses it >.<
