I ve heard some rumours that the actual secretary of state Condolezza Rice have been invited by some sectors of the Republican Party to run for presidency in the next elections... of course she would have to face strong competitors like former NYC mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

On the democratic side, there are strong rumors that actual senator Hillary Clinton will finally run for the presidency, but her popularity among some sectors of the democratic party have gone down.

It would be interesting to have 2 female candidates running for the presidency of the United States and the leadership of the world.

Do you think that we can see that in the 2008 elections?

I don't think either of them are really ready. But they may be someday. Personal preference would definitely be Rice. Not too fond of Clinton at all but Rice seems to be someone that stands her ground on what she belives in and doesn't get visibly flustered when badgered. Rice seems to be very professional.

Rice said that she has no interest in running. Hillary herself hasn't made any public notion of her running.

But between the two, I'd pick Rice in a heartbeat.

If given the choice between Rice or Clinton...I would likely elect Rice.

It won't happen , and might i remind you Rice had a Chevron ( Oil Company) Ship named after her since she made all of her money in oil. But Hiliary might run but rice won't

I'm not American, but I do follow the political system to an extent. I don't think that either of these two women will ever be the president. Maybe in a few years then there will be a woman fully competent, but not at the moment.
