first vector as said in the title ^_^'. It isnt a pretty sight to see and some advice very much appreciated >_>.. i havent figured out how to make the smooth curves yet >_>.. so everything is sorta jagged... thanks x_X

Actually, I think its pretty good for your first^^
My first was crap...
Ive circled those that needs more touch up in red^^
its really a pretty good vector, try smth harder, like the whole chara...
the curvy lines still need some work, over at the eyes, but its really a pretty good vector^^
& U might wanna draw some lines on the other badges too^^

Here's a tip to keep in mind... if you've filled an area and it looks too jagged and not smooth enough, you can take the eraser/brush tool to help smooth it out a bit. This is especially handy with tips that end up curved when they're supposed to be pointed. It takes a good eye and a steady hand to take care of it well though... and it often merits a few undos, but the end product will be the better for it.

first vector? it look a lil bit good ^__^, but still, lets pratice more about how to use pen tool smoothly, the line look so so sharp, i also think some part of this should be outline such as his shirt or some part of the hair ^__^

well, your first vector was much better than mine... It looks much better in the cleaned-up version, although the side of the face (where his right cheek meets his hair) could be smoothed out as well. it just takes some practice. I'm sure a few more tries and you'll be great at it!
