What is quarantine?
» When a gallery item is slated for deletion as part of moderator arbitration, it is suspended for a period of 30
days before it is permanently removed from the gallery. That period of suspension is called quarantine. While an item is
in quarantine, members may not access the gallery item in question. However, an item in quarantine can be restored if it
is determined by the moderators that it was erroneously slated for deletion any time before it is permanently
deleted.
From the MT Policy page describing what wallpapers
are acceptable int he gallery:
Quote:
# For anime wallpapers, it is required that a manga, anime, or game-related stock image be featured. This picture must
feature at least one character and may not be used for background purposes. For general wallpapers, an appropriate
subject must be featured. While stock images may be used in the creation of wallpapers, no unmodified stock images may
be used for background purposes. For the purposes of this policy, an image that has undergone basic editing, such as
resizing, retouching, or cropping, is still considered an unmodified image.
# All wallpapers must meet a certain degree of quality, to be unconditionally determined by the moderators. As such,
wallpapers such as those that are overly simplistic, in black or white, are "filter-whore" works, or use
screen shots are not permitted for submission.
Please use the Complaints: Deleted images,
warnings and bans thread to further discuss why your images were quarantined. Please read the first post in that
thread thoroughly as it explains what you may and may not post in that thread, as well as what information you must
provide in order to get a timely response from the moderating staff.
