I feel that violent games and hentai is probably maybe a very small percentage of the problem, i feel it comes down basically to the laziness and irresponsability of the parents not the media. Parents always want to blame someone else than relize the problem is probably them.

These games doesn't actually brings impact on people playing them.. it's the people who is do not have enough will to withstand them... Not the game's fault... I play hentai games a lot and i don't go drooling over for girls or try to stalk also...

Hentai, violent gaming, movies and porn are just something that society has pointed the finger of blame at. Defining a bad society that would be one with high rates of domestic violence, crime and mistreatment of women etc. so now all these criminals and people who make a "bad society" do not all watch hentai, porn and play violent games.
It is the environment people are brought up in which will determine what kind of person they will be. The philosophy of which a parent brings up a child determines all this. If the mother and father beat the child and shout at them all the time they obviously will have some physical and emotional trauma. Its this kind of behaviour which breeds people for a "bad society".
This is just one possibility.

people are generaly selfish, if theres something to blame they blame it, and without knowing it they believe it without a second thought or a morecareful look at the sistuation. because everybody wants to make themselfs feel better, by taking away the blame away from them, therefor blaming gaming and porno right off the start. Hmmm.... Hentai, Violent Gaming, Movies, Porn, etc are not bad... Well it is not a good thing to see, play, or do, but, its not the person that makes its fault right? We try stopping people, but would that stop them? And anyways, as long as we don't abuse the fact that its not their fault, its the person that see, plays or does fault... As as you don't do this stuff, its ok. I mean, we can stop if we want to whenever we want, we just don't.

"It's those kids he hangs out with. They're a bad influence". but if the kid is a winner, they're the first out there tying to grab some credit " yes, we made sure he had a good childhood". i could really care less about the hentai, although if somebody started bitching about it near me i'd probably punch them in the gut. but the video games argument is just stupid. first of all people are violent, with or without influence. its human nature. men who beat their wives never played violent video games. the only video game they had was pong and pac-man. The closest thing to a violent video game in those days was super mario bros. second of all, if the parents were responsible enough they wouldnt let their kids play them. why ruin it for everybody just because you dont have the time to watch your damn kid. same thing with the porn. thirdly, little kids cant buy mature video games without the parents. or at least they shouldnt be. and finally, even if they raised the rating age they can only raise it to age 18. the mature rating is 17. wow, a whole year. i never knew someone can go from potential killer to a law abiding citizen in a year.

Are these things bad for our society? Well, I can't say that they're making it any better...
However, we all have our own brains. We should put them to some use. In other words, if video games were the root of all evil...well, America would be pretty much screwed. People are just trying to find a scapegoat; they just can't wrap their minds around the fact that there are so many stupid people out there.

i agree partely, but barely. You say the world is full of negitive, yet you dont say what they are. adding these things arn't any good, but im asking you is it better to take them away? rather then looknig at them being "added" why not look at taking them away, since there there to begin with since its been around since god knows when. I think taking them away would be worste, u make it sound like u can simply pull it away and the problem is solved. Thats a pretty anoyying thing you said. I think that all of the violence, hentai etc. is bad. I'm not saying if people see others shooting guns they'll go out, buy one and imitate the game characters or anything (only an idiot would do that and i'm gibving gamers the benefit of the doubt)
But i really think it does effect people. I mean it might not make you do that stuff but it will definitely desensitive you to that when you shouldn't. If you play games with violent gore a human's first reaction is not joy and might even be worry but if you keep playing games like that or watching hentai or whatever you're going to get used to it and maybe even think it's ok. Frankly though I don't care if anyone watches hentai, horror movies, etc or plays violent games as long as they don't go around shooting people, etc. over it^^

porno/henti-i think it degrades all women(mostly why whomen get raped) and sends out negative inpression on how women should be treated, as i know people age of 12 watch porn and henti and in my view it should be hidden form the eyes of minors wich it is not.

These things exist before the entertainment, its only a few deranged people who decide to give these things a bad name by getting idea's from them, but even if the entertainment didn't exist, they would still find idea's elsewhere to commit these horrible crimes.

A thing is just a thing. It's not good, it's not bad, it just is. It is all how a thing is used that determines the outcome, ie good or bad. Two people can read the same book and come away with two completely different takes on it. Maybe one connected with the hero, and strives to be like it while the other begins to commit acts similar to how the villian did. Is the book bad? No. Is it good? No. It just is. The same goes for anything. Movies, porn, books, weapons, video games, and drugs to name a few.
