Remember that we go back in time at each "arc", that is to say, each new part of the story. The first two volumes are the first "arc", the third is the second "arc", the fourth is the third "arc". The first two volumes are the last chronologically. The third is before that, and the fourth before that one. I'm imagining that in the last two, we go to the very roots: where Kazuhiko still has his hand and Oruha is still alive (as in volume four) and Ran is still A with C (and B?) in the cage. That "arc", would end with Barusu cutting off Kazuhiko's hand (setting up their exchange in the first "arc"), orders being issued by persons unknown to persons unknown to kill Oruha for reasons unknown, and perhaps C killing B.

My opinion of the ending and why ran still has his one leaf clover. Remember the reasons why four-leaf clover are kept hidden from society. Suu was kept from people is because she was too powerful and in one scene if she get's too attack to someone, a 4-leaf clover has the power to transfer their power to someone precious. Maybe because Ran is precious to her, some of her power transfer into before she died and the clover that was meant to disappera after his mission is a different one but the one Suu gave to him unintentionally. Just my guess
