Hmmmm I'm assuming when you mean vector, you redid some of the lines? ^_^'
The wallpaper you have posted has a scan that doesn't have great quality. The lines are inconsistent (break up and then
start again, and are of different thicknesses. Especially around the shirt collar, the lines are really fragmented and
don't look high quality.
I would have to agree that the border brushes are far too strong in colour and overwhelming in size. Borders are really
hard to use actually, and at the moment don't really serve much of a purpose at this point.
Perhaps if you turned the scan into a "photo" in a photoframe with these kind of borders with a wood texture
it could work a bit better.
The text is also a bit too big- and always try to keep text in the one location- I would put it at the bottom of the
wallpaper (where Devil Smile is), because I think you want people to see the image first and then read the
"caption" :) That way the text won't dominate the wall.
If you try the photoframe idea, you can then do some other things like create a table or a base for the photo frame,
create a sense of depth or perspective (as you're seeing the top of the table) and create a wall behind (wallpaper would
be easy- download a texture or pattern online :P)
Overall it's up to your imagination :) But the things you'll need to keep in mind is that the scan is rather
"floaty" and the hair and body should have been kept if you chose to go ahead with the current background you
have now :) You may also have to reconsider the background to fit a particular concept you wish to demonstrate with this
scan ^^
I hope that was of some help!
The MT Policy is always there for some reference if you need :P
Great work! ^^
