what is a featured submission, and how can a wall or a scan be a featured submission? through what process?
Because I found out that all the featured submissions placed in the front page have above-average qualities. But of
course, by putting it as 'featured' it will get more comments and +favs. I'm just curious... thank you :)

A featured submission is a submission that has the most favorites. So basically, in order to get your submission to be a featured submission, you just got to get that wall or scan to be faved the most. And of course they have above-average qualities! If they didn't who would fave them? LoLz! :D

Recent wallpapers or doujinshi with more than 26 favs are in the featured submissions on the front page. Scans are not counted.
