Is it possible to embed a scanned img using HTML?

:)Hi, guys. I just wanted to ask u that is it possible or not possible to embed a scanned pic or img of any size in the customize userpage content? I guess not. But if u guys know anything about it pls tell me. We use the tag<IMG SRC="...gif">For embedding a gif img. Is there any other tag we can use for embedding a scanned img? :)

Erm, it's basically the file extension name of whatever your scanned image is.

You can embed any image on your userpage, but take into account that it shouldn't be too big or your userpage will become... wonked lol.

Just remember to upload your scanned image onto an external host and the same tag applies, only instead of .gif you use .jpg, .bmp , .png or whatever your image happens to be.

At least I think that's what you're asking about o.o
