I am improving ... My wallie get deleted, probably b/c it's too simple ?
Or b/c it is in Black & White ...

Well ~~ I will try out another stuff later :)
Or may be add some color on it .. but I try other stuff on it .. it doesnt look very good >.<
And I waste like 4-5 hours to complete it T.T

I guess it's more to do with the scan more than anything else on this wallpaper, because you picked a scan that's cut off on both sides. This looks kinda weird because it's cut off in a box and if you have a peek into the policy, "resized/ cropped scans" aren't all that good for wallpapers because it's not very clear how much you've worked on the scan. Which is why we like members to extract them or to vector over them: with this scan you've got a pretty hard task of actually blending in the scan with its background because there is a boundary or edge around it.

I guess if you consider the edges and figure out a way to relate it to the background and make it all blended into one whole, it would work a lot better. One very common solution is putting a frame around it to emphasise the fact it's meant to be in a box (as in a realistic frame, not just a border) - but I think the scan will have to "meld" into the background a lot more.

Just my two cents :)

Well not much but i think at the first one it is mono blck and white, it look well but wallpaper for computer should have color not because it black % white. Color wallpaper make the monitor screen work stabilize. if this is an art, well it's simple.

In the color version. the color is too much bright ( the girl) it make user eyes uncomfortable when see it.

You should work on part of it like correct or adjust her hair, and then her outfir, and then her skin
remember to balance the color.
the http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/8996/wall01my0.th.jpg quite detail so if it is color that good for you but if it is mono that hard to do a bite.
Hope you can work it well.

Yea I did resize the scan, coz it didnt fit in 1600*1200 size ...
So u mean I cant resize the scan bigger ? >.<

Hmmm....i suggest you to remove the border i don't think it looks fine and i think that the scan has too much smart blur and/or median, the scan has lost details
Also i would love a textless version
