I thought it was a musical about Ghosts (seriously!) Like the movie White Noise.
I know, I'm having a moment of stupidity.
Anyways, looking at the links I think that this is seriously blown out of proportion, like BlueSky said. And I don't
mean to sound racist when I say this, but I doubt that anyone would have cared if they girls had been anything other
than white, and on that note the white supremacists should be ashamed of themselves. Being white doesn't make you better
(I know that firsthand), and being anything other than that doesn't make you better either. There's good people as well
as scum in every shape, size, etc. There's also enough people looking for ways to shout racism without it being handed
to them, and even then it's still terrible to be like that. You'd think we'd reached a point as advanced as the world
has become that people would stop this ridiculous attitude towards different "races"... funny, but we're all
the "human race".
This isn't in relation to the link, but it seems to fit anyhow: I do believe that before people accuse someone of racism
they need to make sure they aren't merely being racist themselves. It's too easy to throw this accusation out without
knowing the facts behind it, and some things are misunderstandings. But for the record, I do agree with LITTLECHIISAN.
Even if this is blown out of proportion the musical is a terrible idea, and it's definitely disgusting. I actually think
the news media is doing more harm than good in this case by drawing attention to it, as it's giving them "air
time". I know that isn't the intention, but that can act in a negative way where this might have fallen off the
face of the earth before.
But that's just what I think, and I don't claim to know all the facts, I'm just going by what I have on this issue.
