Hello fellow Vectory members!
According to gaara's poll, the nomination system for highlighting work was the most popular. So, why don't we give it a try. Highlighted works will be decided by you, the members of Vectory.
Here's how it works (the original idea comes from Simple-ism)
Nominations
- Anyone in the group can nominate a vector/wall by posting in the cbox with a
link to the vector/wall.
- The nominated vector/wall cannot be your own work
- For now, please nominate vectors/walls by Vectory members only (though you could always invite non-members to join
^__^)
- The nominated vectors/walls will be displayed on the group page as text links for you to vote on.
Voting
- Anyone can vote for a vector/wall that has been nominated.
- Please vote in the cbox, indicating which vector/wall you're voting for, by
referring to the name or artist of the wall
- Only one vote per person can be made for a vector/wall; nominations count as votes, so if you nominated a vector/wall
you can't vote for it again
- Once the vector/wall has 2 votes, it will be placed in the featured gallery in thumbnails
- You can still vote for a vector/wall in the featured gallery (if you haven't voted for it before); once the
vector/wall has 4 votes or more, it will be placed in the group gallery
Misc notes
- The featured gallery will be rotating, meaning that the newly voted in piece will replace the one that was there the
longest
- The vectors/walls waiting to be voted into the feature gallery will have a number next to it, indicating the number of
votes it already has; 0 indicates that it was nominated, but has no votes yet
- You can nominate/vote for up to 6 vectors/walls at a time (so that I don't go crazy trying to update everything
^^'')
- Please try to nominate newer works (up to 2-3 weeks old)
- A nominationed vector/wall will stay on the group page for 1 or 2 weeks (depending on how much activity we have), if
it's not voted into the featured gallery by then, it will be taken off
- Please leave your name when voting in the cbox
I hope this isn't too confusing. If you have any questions, please ask. We'll give this a try and see how it goes.
