the extraction seems to be a bit rough , but it may be just me. The background is a bit too simple. Make a background describing where she would be in that pose i guess? Hope that helps.

- As for the background, personally I find it way too empty for a scan like that:
Was the scan originally that small? If not, there's no need to make it so small.
Scans like that could be used for "magical" wallpapers, which is a great way to practice blending colors/layers and brushwork.
You can also do a "vector" style wallpaper. I think the scan is clean enough so you wouldn't have to actually vector it =)

And Cloe-chan, would you mind showing me examples of "magical" & "vector" style wallpapers... I really don't know what you mean... ^_^'

Here are some examples (I chose Card Captor Sakura 'cause there are a ton of magical wallies in this section, so if you need more examples, that's one place to check out):

Prayer Beyond our Skies by Cloudnine"Magical" can mean like, lots of sparkles, stars, moons, clouds, magic, pretty colors, etc etc. Of course, you don't have to copy them exactly ;D

or just check out DevilDude's gallery for examples of excellent vector-wallpapers XD Lots of simplicity, but very attractive and fun to do.

Looks nice but the scan it's quite small for the wall, I have just found the same scan at MT Tatatsuiro Doroppusu scan by sakura1986
Umm...the problems are mainly the ones that darkheartknight and Chloe post there.The background is waaay too empty, maybe some textures will do the work.
