I was thinking,
so many dark thoughts,
to this day,
I can't believe,
I thought,
many bad things,
and always,
crying myself to sleep,
my life was going downhill,
I was going to end it all
I was better off dying,
but then,
an Guardian angel came,
she was the only one,
that lissioned to me,
the only one,
that cared for me,
the only one,
that talked to me,
she was the only one,
that gave me hope,
she told me things,
so nice and kind,
and loved me,
so gentle and kind,
shes the one,
why I'm here,
shes the one,
that stopped me thinking,
of the worst things of all,
My guardian angel,
saved me those days
and talks to me,
day by day,
giving me hope,
for the next day,
telling me,
many things,
that keeps a smile,
on my face,
day by day,
I thank her,
I love her,
I care for her.
day by day,
I think to myself
my guardian angel,
saved me.

The poem is rather simple for anyone to understand, but as a result it suffers from a lack of elegance or rhythm which is required to evoke a sense of emotion in the reader. It is also not separated into various units or stanzas, thus making the poem feel a bit rushed as there is no breathing room for the reader.
