According to the botchii message I received, the wallpaper Broken was classified as pornographic because it contained nudity. However, the definition of pornography presented in the botchii notification is different than what was in the Minitokyo Policy.
Quote by Minitokyo PolicyMinitokyo considers an image to be mature content if it is explicity pornographic, contains scenes of sexual acts, undressing, sexual poses, extreme violence, and any other imagery deemed non-suitable for a family audience by the Minitokyo staff.
Quote by botchii Message The image you submitted entitled Broken was removed from Minitokyo, because it violated one or more of the following policies:
- It featured hentai or pornography, which is not allowed in any form or shape. This includes, but is not limited to: nudity, sexually inclined pictures or explicit sexual pictures, bondage, sado masochism. Nude defines itself as exposing nipples and/or genitals.
- Offensive contents, including racistical utterance, in any form or shape.
-Characters can not be seen in a state of undressing, or be posed provocatively.
I understand that nudity is generally associated with porn, but not all nudity is pornographic. I am not asking for my wallpaper to be un-deleted because I do understand your position, what I am asking is that you state in your policy that nudes of any kind are not permitted. The policy seems to lean against pornographic content only rather than the more general 'clothes on' policy that seems to exist. I know some would point out that nudity is not 'family friendly', however I was brought up to understand the difference between art and porn, I was taught that the naked body can be beautiful and it is probably because of that that I was under the impression that since the scan used did not feature anything sexual it would be ok.
