I don't know much about the specs of those robots but based on the anime... Strike Freedom is very strong so that's what I chose..
misunderstood and neglected
As always, the Strike Freedom is the strongest. Since its difficult to pilot the Strike Freedom, I'd like to pilot an upgraded Freedom equipped with Hyper Deuterion Reactor, mobile beam shield (which is just like Infinite Justice's shield but can retract to form a compact shield just like Impulse's shield), upgraded plasma and rail cannons, new beam sabers, "Palma Fiocina" palm beam cannons (so that I can dispose the rather unwieldy beam rifle) and new HiMAT wings equipped with Voiture Lumiere propulsion engines similar to those of the Strike Freedom and new OS (capable of autopilot, multi-targetting, and pilot assistance so that the pilot's workload would become much more lighter).
That would better suit me. I'll call it ZGMF-X10AE Neo Freedom or Endeavor. E stands for Enhanced.

i did not expect someone to answer this thread by creating a GUNDAM unit......
In reality the power of the suit is brought out by the pilot meaning that in a match where the suits are equal the better (or in some cases, when chance jumps in, the luckier) pilot wins.
However I ould have to go with the Strike Freedom as the most powerful suit in the series

HAWT DAMN! I'd totally pilot the Exia, which is actually from the newest Gundam series so far (Gundam 00). It's so much better than the other gundams, since it doesn't even need nuclear power for insane high speed. It uses some kind of light or something. i think that's so much better.
Herm. since i'm an engineer, I think the fact that Gundams are "Very big target for bombardment" makes me want to ride on a mobile armour instead. However, I still want to ride on Legend due the fact that you can kill things withoud harming other items in the path (think urban battle, but, there's no buildings in space).
Erm..Aren't we talking about Gundam only from the Gundam Seed series?
Strike Freedom will be a choice but Forbidden and Strike Noir are great too.
Buut if we're talking pilot I think Yzak can kick Shinn's butt anytime.

Im guessing GN-004 will be the red Gundam of the series, that we'll probably be seeing later.

i want to pilot the Akatsuki and be the true Ultimate Co-ordinator (Kira's a SUPER Co-ordinator not Ultimate) >.<
I'd pick Justice. Although the Gaia (Stellar's Gundam) would be pretty fun, too. And the Destroy. Stellar gets all the fun ones...

Aegis was my favorite gundam from the seed series. I'd rebuild it and give it a nuclear reactor and some wings so it's capable of permanent flight.
