oh, original or cannon? umm good question, i should say... it depends on how many people are interested. If we have way to many, then it should be invented characters, if there are only a few then i suppose cannon will do.

Is Claymore a anime or moive? I know a Claymore is a type of Scottish sword that uses two hands to use.

It is an anime, and you're right, it's name comes from the scottish two-handed sword mainly used by pirates, I would suggest we could create our characters, especially for the ones who would be attracted to the story once they read it, but haven't watched the show, interaction with the characters from the show wouldn't be a bad idea though

LOl wooow 7 ppl voted yes! at this rate we should start one up lol. Yes, please visit Claymore-Club if you dont get the concept fully,they have a really good explaination but BASICALLY this takles place in the umm.. medieval i believe time and:
There are these demons known as "yoma" and they can masquarade as humans, basically anything that has a humanoid body. Their purpose in life is to eat ppl's guts and intestines and destory villages but they are SO dangerous because no one can tell who amongst them is a yoma.
Then there are "silver-eyed witches" aslo known as "Claymores" Becuase they wield GIANT claymore swords. they are all women because when the "organization" that makes claymores (by taking a human child and infusing a part of a yoma's body with theirs to make them half yoma) tried to do it with the males, the males all became "awakened beings" really fast becuase an awakened being is a Claymore who had pushed his or her powers to the limit and become like a super-powerful yoma. The REALLY strong awakened beings can even shift from human appearance to their "awakened state".
These silver eyed witches are hired by villages to hunt the yoma becuase they can sense the yoma enegry and find who in the group is a yoma, and then used their supiror power and strength and speed to kill it. So they are hitwomen for yoma, and EVEN awakened beings sometimes. All Claymores have blonde hair and silver eyes and they are ranked in ability and strength from 1- 47. They are chosen becuase they usually come to the organization after theur whole family is killed by yoma and they want reveneg and have no where else to turn. they are then trained from a young age.

My only problem with having an rp with original characters, is that there might be an argument over who gets what number.

hmm we COULD do the numbers on a first come first serve basis lol. And of course we would have to have some Awakened beings :P to make things interesting. lol. I'd be a Claymore personally.... and probably one of the either 1, 2 or 3 (after all i brought this whole idea up). SOOO here's what im gonna do. Everyone who wants in, say so HERE and then submit your characters on the actual RP thread. :)

WARNING DUDES ! NEVER EVER WATCH CLAYMORE ANIME ! it's a piece of junk compare to the manga .... especially the ending ... just total speechless dude ... speechless i say . anywayz .. i would like to see a claymore rp in MT .... hope it'll come out soon ...
