For me it was in the year 2004 when I saw my first anime
it was Magic Knight Rayearth I was still in elementary school
and I was hook up on it right away.

First thing I saw was Tekkaman Blade, dubbed Teknoman in europe, I think. Unless you count MASK and series like those under anime, suppose we should, but to me it just doesn't feel that way. That was in elementary for me as well :)

I cant really remember if I unknowingly saw an anime in the past, but the first anime I watched properly was Neon Genesis Evangelion which was like 2 years ago. I still love it but I'm hooked on Gundam Seed and Destiny and all their mangas.... and almost everything Gundam now (except Wing). I have yet to actually find an anime I hate. There were a few that I didn't love but I don't regret watching them.
Everything rotates anti-clockwise except clocks and Venus.

The first anime that I ever watched was Dragon Ball Z. It was the episode where Piccolo shot his Special Beam Cannon at Goku who was holding Raditz in order to keep him from escaping. Good times...good times.
If you don't like Bleach, Death Note, Gundam, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Final Fantasy, or any real good animes...then I feel sorry for you!

Gosh... this will be hard to remember! I started watching anime as a little child back at early 90's.
Maybe Heidi and the Little Prince.
I also watched Doraemon and lots of Saint Seiya and Kimba The White Lion! ^^
I remember watching lots of tokusatsu also! Jaspion is my most fav!~Life is happening somewhere else from here

The first anime i've ever seen was either sailor moon, dbz, or pokemon (i would never watch those again)... I got really hooked on anime after seeing rurouni kenshin and gundam seed(still love this one and gsd)

After DBZ, Ruroni Kenshin is what really got me hooked on anime, but I also watched pokemon when I first started to get hooked on it. Gundam Wing was good to.

Sailor moon was the first, then dragonball z and pokemon
I then went to america at age 11 and saw Gundam Wing uncut.......i was purely hooked then, i fell in love with Gundam Wing and it will always be my fav anime- Aug 08, 2008

I think it was Pokemon, but at the time I didn't even know what anime was, to me it was just another cartoon, I eventually vaguely learned it was from Japan. The first anime I watched and actually knew it was anime was Full Metal Alchemist based on a recommendation from a friend, then Naruto. The first I watched from my own research was Neon Genesis Evangelion, that started me on the road to Otakuness.

My first anime was CCS, the Malay-dubbed version. It was well dubbed though.
But what really hooked me to the world of anime and stuff was actually my accidential finding of Rei Ayanami's pics (and not the Eva anime) on the web some years back... God, is she beautiful~-bvc100 artworks-
