Just a friendly notice from firefly and Elves that we are having a nice discussion in the group guestbook about our top 3 anime. We'd love to hear your input as well! (Elves already got me addicted to Natsume Yuujinchou... ^_^')
So... let's open up a thread discussion!
What are your top 3 anime titles? These can be either your personal favorites, have awesome animation/eye-candy, etc. Make sure to state a reason, and maybe we'll all find new shows to watch.
Elves:
1. Slayers - got me hooked and it still makes me laugh even though I can
quote it
2. Fruits Basket - very awesome story, there's not just one character to
root for, you're rooting for all of them
3. Mushishi - it's different and subtle, plus it's got a gorgeous
soundtrack

1. The Twelve Kingdoms/Juuni Kokki: One of the best examples of
character development I've ever watched. The characters in the first half start off pretty annoying, but it's necessary
for the second half of the series to be SO DARN GOOD.
2. *seconds Elves on Mushishi: Different. Beautiful. Episodic, but one of the few instances where I didn't really care. Amazing soundtrack.
3. Kino no Tabi: Tales of a traveler and their talking motorrad. If you're a fan of dystopian literature then definitely give this one a try! The last two episodes are by far my favorites, but the series as a whole was excellent.
