If I'm not mistaken there will be two "versions" of it? right? One is called FF Xlll and the other is FFXlll Versus. The first one will have a girl as heroine, and the second one will have a man in an outfit that remembers me of Cloud. I can't wait them to arrive!

yes final fantasy xiii is for the xbox 360 and it does have a girl protagonist, final fantasy xiii versus is for the playstation 3 and has a male protagonist... one seems to have a "lighter" story while the other has a more "dark" story... other than that nothing else much except for: it comes out in 2009 :( a little late for my taste

I really want to know more about both of them. The characters seem a little bland (very FFVII compilation) but whatever...if it's a Final Fantasy, there's going to be great music and great eye candy, so it can console me if the product sucks.

It is good, the console with which to play it with is damn expensive though...

i think that it will be ok. but since square and enux joined forces they have been releasing bad final fantasy games (like x-2 and how 11 is online only)

I have really high hopes for it, and I am so relieved that it will be released for Xbox360. I'm finally not left out of the loop from the Final Fantasy series any more :-D

I'm so pumped for this! God I haven't played an FF game since FF:IX on the PS1... (I went with the Xbox over the PS2 so I never got to play FF:X...) But thank goodness for Square Enix and their decision to go multi-platform! My Xbox 360 sits with the utmost anticipation :)

I'm DYING to see how the battle system will turn out for -Versus-.
It was mentioned that it would be similar to the Kingdom Hearts system, so I'm stoked.!
(Plus, i believe that it'll be real-time)
