tie between Kannagi and Clannad for me. i liked Nogizaka Haruka no himitsu too, but i fell it really didnt have an ending.

Since Clannad isn't on the list because it's an '07-08 anime and not just 08 period. I'm going with True Tears.

I think one of the best I've watched that was made this year is Dennou Coil, but then again I haven't watched many this year.

I liked Chi's Sweet Home a lot but I felt the ending was kinda a letdown, it should've continued.

blassreiter, rosario vampire, zero no tsukaima n persona trinity soul to me
