I've just recently underwent Lasik to correct my vision, and I found it great! I went through the Intralase process, and it is painless and efficient. So I'm just wondering if anyone here has done Lasik or is considering it. If yes, which process you went through and why. If No, why?

I know someone that did it and it never really worked out for him..but I've learned if you have astitism *sp* that sometimes it never corrects itself or if you over stimulate useage of your eyes...he was a doctor...dunno about your means of work ^^ and I probably won't bother for I use my eyes a lot and have augistism...sorry bad slaughter of that one ^^

I was looking forward to having my vision corrected, but I was told by the doctors that I was ineligible for Lasik surgery, because the outer layer of my eye was too thin. : ( If I'd gone ahead with the procedure, they would have run a serious risk of permanently blinding me.

Oh, you mean your cornea is too thin, perhaps you can go for other procedures, though I heard that they are more painful.

I have a really bad astigmatism, so I might not be a good candidate. There's another procedure they can do, but my vision is incredibly bad. It can be corrected, so I'm not sure I want to risk something like this.
