T_T I am being cyber-bullied in my group by the use of my chatbox, and there's a very very very high chance this person is a member of MT.net, which is why I need you to ban this person.

I don't know their username or whoever they are and I'm not 100% sure if he/she/it is a member of MT.net. But I have their IP addresses (yes it's 2 of them) and I will submit them here so maybe you can find out who they are.

How'd I get their IP addresses? I own the chat box on the page, and its host site enables me to see the IP addresses of everyone that posts in it.

Moving on, I will now show you what this person did.
Now normally, it wouldn't be as big a deal, but my little brother, zelemental, has passed away recently (like maybe 2 months now) due to heart tumor.

And this person has been using my brother's name to say disgusting and perverted things in the chat box and abuse the other group members who post in it. This person has also used my name and the name of group members as well.

This person (using a different PC) has made a more forward perverted and rude comment saying this -> @$$: buttcheeks in their submission before. That's what confirmed it as abuse. I deleted this person's post from the chat box and I banned the person's IP address, but this same person managed to find another pc to abuse us by.

This is a case of cyber-bullying and it'd be most helpful that if this person is a member of minitokyo.net, that you ban this sick person. :(

And if you STILL for some reason don't believe me, then you can look at the group page yourself. However, I'm not sure that even if the person is banned, if they'll have the ability to delete their post, which is why I screenshot everything.

Plz, I spent basically my whole life being walked over and bullied. My brother has passed away and I will not accept this cr@p (excuse my language). D: I banned this person from the chat box, but plz, if this person indeed has an account on MT.net, plz ban the person.

P.S. - And for those of you who own sites who recognize this IP address, I suggest you ban them from your sites as well because this person is just downright sick to mess with the name of a 15 yr old boy who passed away like this. It's just disgusting. And even if he was alive, that's just rude. This is just a small hint of what cyber-bullying is like. Please help put a stop to cyber-bullying. I guess people can't get enough of ruining others' lives in real life, they have to do it on the net too. :/

I hope so too, but the only thing we can do is leave this up to the admins. If this person continues to use other pc's to post in the chatbox, I'm not going to let them bully me into taking it down, I will just keep banning their IP addresses, I'm not going to accept being bullied anymore. I know that zel would tell me to do the same thing if he was still alive. :3

Ah, saw this 2-3 days ago.. >_< I was the one who alerted some of the other members to this.. but Sel actually went on to try and truly deal with it! :D

Actually, as you can see, I commented in the chatbox twice after the 'so-called Zel' did. However, the rest of the comments were NOT me, even though it was clearly my name being used. ..I don't swear like that..
That is partly my fault though, I suppose I should have signed in first.. >_< and not let my name be freely used.

Still, it's pretty disrespectful to use Zel's name to say such things! It's disgraceful to 'hide behind' others' names and use them like that, let alone when it's poor Zel.. It angers me and saddens me at the same time..

Please don't let such an insensitive person get away with this.

i dont think i would call this bullying. its more of someone just being an ass. i know it probably hurt you, but everyone likes poking fun at ppl, you know, like a playful punch.. besides. if you dont know him, that means he probably doesnt know you, and so he doesnt know about your brother. i say just get over it, its really not even that big of a deal.

like i said, at first, i just deleted the comment. and ban the computer's ID.
THAT is just poking fun and being an @ss.

However, it reaches bullying when the person goes ahead and uses ANOTHER pc just to get at you once again. And if this person is not dealt with. he/she/it will just continue doing so.

And like I said, even if the person was alive, it would still be bad.

I think you pass it off as just an expression of opinion because it didn't happen to you or even if what the person did was wrong, you agree with the overall opinion of the person.. If it did happen to you, however, I think you'd understand the situation more clearly. And even if you agreed with the person's idea, it still doesn't change it from being wrong, hurtful, and abusive towards not just me, but the other members there. For crying out loud, the person pretended to be aozo-kun and made her call my brother an "a-hole", WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FOR IT TO BE CALLED ABUSE?!

If someone can be banned over MT just for calling someone stupid, then abusing someone not once but TWICE after being banned from the chat box should be dealt with. what happened was bullying.

I don';t know what your definition of bully is. If it has to be someone constantly telling you to keep killing yourself. But that's just 1 definition of bullying.

Repeatedly bothering someone because of their views IS bullying. And I'm surprised you don't know that. It's not an expression of free speech, it's harassment. And it should be dealt with. Just because I don't like something, doesn't mean I'm going to target someone and continuously abuse them. That is bullying.

And if you still don't get it, then i'm srry if i sound rude, but you need to relook its definition in the dictionary.

I'll leave this for the admins of MT to decide.

If they decide to do nothing about him and let him continue roaming around MT being an @$$ then fine. But at least I did something to try and stop it.

Sounds pretty hard to find out who this guys is... afterall if he has 2 ips its likely that his modem changes hes ip everytime they boot. Or maybe he manually changed his IP. So even if MT can track users by their IPs it should be hard to be sure whos the guy behind this.

No. Here's why.
1. I think you're overreacting. There is no evidence of bullying in the shoutbox, and it's not apparent in your screenshots either.
2. Many groups get along just fine without a shoutbox. If you're so concerned, disable it. Enforcing rules in your embedded offsite shoutbox is not in the scope of practice of MT staff.
Contrary to popular belief, I do not arbitrarily ban people, nor does any other staff member.

I also heard that there are some websites which let you surf the net using their servers... like http://www.calculatepie.com/ so yeah, it may be kinda hard to find out who it was..

You cannot expect us to track down someone based on IP address. That's the equivalent of trying to hunt down everybody with a last name containing a letter of the alphabet. If you cannot show us which specific MT member is violating MT Policy, then we cannot and will not do anything.

By the way, yes it is way too easy to change your IP address. You can keep banning all day and it will be futile.
