TEDDY EVENT!
YAY!
IT's finally coming to an end! We have given enough time and it's the 22nd!
Ani, miku, I hope you finished yours!
Starting the next day, I will be with Scott<3 helping him raffle out the exchange!
Assigned teddies will be announced the next day at night GMT-5:00 or 2-3:00pm that GMT time.
Only those who participated will have teddies. For those who have made extra, they will be given to members who didn't participate by RAFFLE as well.
If you didn't get one, don't feel bad. While it was meant for the holidays, the event had become most luved. So it will be done again soon. But time will be given for everyone to take a break from it since we worked so hard on the teddies. And happen to also be very busy!
Starting on the day exchange is announced, everyone will be asked to switch their MT ava "temporarily" with a teddy ava. It can be an anime, manga, video game, REAL teddy or bear. As long as it's some kind of bear. The staff members participating will set "bear tracks" for you to follow. They will pick somewhere on MT to post a comment, and you will be asked to follow. :D This is the Teddy Trail! YAY! <3 <3 <3 It will last around a week. So everyone hopefully will get a chance! :3

A NEW FESTIVAL
WILL BEGIN!
A literary writing festival will begin sometime next month after the Teddy festival is done with. You will be asked to
write at least one of the following.
A short story.
OR
A poem.
You can post pictures along with either one. Whether you drew it or not. Whether it's original or a fanfic doesn't matter. As long as it's written by you and wasn't ripped off someone else.
The winner will get an animated gif to put on their page of their fav anime character shouting out you won the contest. Scott and I are both familiar with animated gifs. And when it comes to doujinshi I'm pretty good at it. It will be up to the mascots to announce the winners for the contest.
Because of that it is being debated whether they will be allowed to enter or not because they are also supposed to be judging the stories.

BRING ON THE MMO!
For those of you who don't know, MMO means massive.multiplayer.online game.
For those of you who STILL don't know what it is, it's a big leap from instant messengers and an even bigger leap from
forum communication. You literally play a video game on ur pc (they have some for consoles though) and make a new life
for yourself in the game. Along with that, you play with other players/characters. Who are REAL people in REAL life
playing the game with you. If you're in home-schooling, lonely, or just bored with some freetime and in need of some
place to get rid of stress, then playing an MMO may be just what you need.
Now there are tons and tons and tons of MMO's to play. Many are good! And there are all kinds. Just like normal video games, they consist of FPS (First Person Shooter), Horror/Thriller, Fantasy/Adventure, RPG (Role.Playing.Game.), Musical (Dance and music-related), Strategy (games that rely mostly on the player's strategic mind skills), etc.
But I'm not really going to get into ALL of these. That'd take 4ever!
Instead, I'm going to suggest games that may appeal to the emo and goth-like anime fans. So here it goes! I have a total of 3 games to show! Let's get started shall we?

Well Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE Online is an OFFICIAL MMO of this series. Shin Megami Tensei being such a cult fav series and immensely popular among gamers of all kinds, they have decided to put their heads together with the MMO-making company, Aeria Games. Who happens to be popular for supplying addicting mmo's that offers cash shop (buy items if ur too lazy to get it) on the side. Games such as LastChaos, Shaiya, TwelveSky, Dream of Mirror Online, Stoneage 2, Dreamlords, and Pi Story are only a few of the awesome games this company supplies. All of them, free to Play 4 Life.

I have played this game, it is awesome. Only flaw is that it's in BETA (Testing stage). So there's not much to do. But if you'd like to play and see a preview of it, by all means, take a look.
Like the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series on the consoles (PS2, NDS, whatever) expect to see blood and people dieing. You see it RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME. It doesn't cross the line into HORROR, but it is indeed filled with tragedy, blood, and death in its storyline. Don't let it get to you though. It's no Resident Evil. At most, if you HAVEN'T played the Shin Megami Tensei series b4, I can compare it to the Xenosaga series.
The scenery is not medieval. Not like your common RPG, as shown in the pics, there's a lot of fantasy going on, but it takes place in a futuristic, tragedy-filled Tokyo. Where the streets are filled with demons and the people look to you, a Demon Buster, for protection.
If blood, UGLY (and i mean some freaky-looking ugly) demons attacking you is not your thing, then stay away from this series all together. Because the game is really not all that different from the series of games you have come to love of Shin Megami Tensei/Persona. ;3
WARNING: When you make a character, it will be deleted when BETA is over. Like I said, it's just a testing stage. You play it. Meet some people. Hangout. But then everything is deleted and shut down until it becomes OPEN for play officially. How will you know? No worries. It will say so in big letters on the page ontop of the banner. Can't miss it.
Even if you play Beta, this game is definitely something to go back and look forward to. The character customization,
the scenery, the story! You will be begging for more. This is one of those EPIC games u will be hooked to. And be
thankful that this was NOT made by ripoffs like Nexon, but instead a company who actually know what "FREE"
means, Aeria Games.
What you see in Beta, is only a mere teaser of what they're capable of. And what's more, your PC, laptop or whatever,
should be able to handle it just fine. So no probs there. It's not one of those "VERY HIGH GRAPHICS DEMAND"
games, but the 3-D is something awesome to look at nonetheless.

A Legendary monk named Cradios traveled the world with his 12 disciples to fight
the evil spirits. Cradios used the Art of Yumra Kihon to seal all the Evil spirits into a charm, then sealed it away at
Sky Demon Temple in Kuha Mountain.
And so everyone were anxious to return to their old lives of peaceful days of
farming and schooling. All except one? Yang, one of Cradios desciples.
Yang thought that he was the only one fit to inherit the Legendary Cradios position because he was the best disciple. However, Cradios chose his disciple Sam as his successor and left. Ever since, Yang has been tormented by his feeling of inferiority and humiliation.

A few years passed by peacefully and the world became a happy place. However, on the other hand, with a young king on
the throne, many corrupted politicians used him as a pawn of power to do terrible deeds. Their powers grew to be
uncontrollable over the years.
The young king finally started hearing of such evil deeds of Eunuches, and calls forth all the politicians to let them
know of the corruption this is brining to the kingdom.
Lucky for them, they were not punished for their crimes. However, out of spite, they plot to overthrow the
king.
They arranged a secret meeting to plot the overthrow of the king. They decided to lure warriors all over the world to
become involved with their plans with promises of rare treasures.
Many warriors from Order and Chaos in seek of richness came in crowds. Yang, who was no longer a man of morals an
principles, but simply another man fallen in darkness from his greed for wealth and powers, heard of the news.

his men to kill his rival, Sam, who is the person in charge of keeping the sacred sealed charm at the Sky Demon
Temple.
Meanwhile, the Legendary Cradios who left the countries bordering Western China to search for Evergreen Herb for so many
years in the Bloody Evil Carven, grew evil in his heart from using the power of Yuma Kihon, until one day, he could no
longer control it.

kay as for me, I am totally BENT on playing this game.

It's like a town of ghost busters! It's not just some random "I'm gonna lvl" game. If you like killing zombies and ghosts or maybe even befriending them, this game pwns! It's like if you have ever wanted to play in a world where it's Japan, China, or Korea setting and you want to save some damsels in distress or solve a ghost mystery with a group of buddies, then this game is for you. DEFINITELY.
And dont even get me started on the promotional video. I liked it so much that I showed it to my mom. And my mom is hard to please and she actually liked it! And so, I will be looking for an embed code to put up on the group page's content. Plz watch and comment on the video. It can also be found to the left side menu on the main page of the official site.
while the game is indeed 2-D, I could care less about that. A awesome game with a great storyline in which I can walk on thin air?! I will most definitely play it! I MUST! And so, at least until Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE is out of Beta, I will play this game and enjoy each bit of it longest I can. Who knows, I might be so hooked I will stay with this instead of IMAGINE! ......... i said "might". :P

But before I get into that, this game has a lot of hype. And I mean A LOT. People have been going crazy over it. And for
those who played the game without even understanding how to read Taiwanese/Korean have claimed it AWESOME. And it is
also a new featured mmo to be looked at and pondered on at mmosite.com!
I have seen movies of its gameplay and 3-D and it is indeed stunning. While it SEEMS like it's one of those high-quality games that your PC can't handle, that is not true. In actuality, the game is just CUTE. And that cuteness scares many people from giving the game a try. While you will indeed encounter lag at times as from what I see in the YouTube videos showcasing gameplay, it is only minor lag. And you shouldn't have any problem playing the game unless your pc is riddled with viruses. Also, plz do the intelligent thing when playing your games, don't run web browsers, instant messengers, virus cleaning software, etc. behind the scenes while playing! It takes a lot out of every PC to play an mmo(unless it's a super-computer or modified with ridiculously awesome graphics cards). To lessen lag and keep your PC from having a blackout, don't do these things while playing the game! Especially if your PC is low on space and RAM. If you still have a problem with lag, it could be either your graphics card/RAM or you have a virus/malware/adware on your PC. These things can be easily taken care of with some allowance money. $20 at the least if you desperately want to play an mmo! While I would much rather by a console game, Star Ocean for XBOX360, updating your PC might also be a good idea?
This game indeed looks loveable!
I must give out a warning though!
Despite the cutesy players, it's a 3-D game! Not to mention, it's about GHOSTS!
And dead things!
Don't be shocked if you see a horrid looking monster limping after you in super speed! It's not of horror genre, but if
you don't like the idea of fighting alone (soloing) against an ugly zombie mummy that's 2x taller and a millionx uglier
than your character, then find another game.
