a doctor told me that if i eat regular meals everyday i will slim down.i eat very small meals 4 or 5 times a day and every day at the same hour.i already lost 3 kgs in 2 weeks.it's not much,but i know i won't get them back :)))
i also drink at least 2 glasses of water before breakfast and take a 1 hour long walk every day.

Eat healthier options that you enjoy (e.g. grilled chicken THAT YOU LIKE vs. deep fried chicken) If you don't like what you're eating you will not stick to it. So try to find what you enjoy that is also healthy, NOT something healthy that you will try to learn to enjoy....'cause that's difficult

Try to stop eating before you feel full or ordering a second item, and wait some time so your body can register that you have enough energy to stop you from eating even more when you don't need to

Exercise minimum 3 times a week

Start a weight lifting program (this applies both to men and women, women will not grow muscles that makes them look manly, but will tone their body and help burn fat. The reason is that they lack the hormones that men do. So women should not shy away from weight lifting programs. Google this topic and you'll come to understand the benefits of a weight lifting program)

Don't obsess about losing weight fast, give yourself an ENTIRE year or 2 to reach a possible goal. If you gain some weight over a week, don't obsess about it, because think about the rest of your life. How many weeks are there in your life, and isn't it impossible to lose weight on EVERY single week? Also, scales are not reliable because your body weight is affected by salt and water intake, so a 1 lbs or 0.5 kg gain can just be your body holding more water.

Torturing yourself is bad, starving yourself is worse. If you go all out on the weekend ordering tons of dessert, continue eating healthy the next few days and don't punish yourself. You gifted yourself with those desserts and now you're back on track. If you fall, just stand up and keep walking and you will eventually reach your goal.

Balance your life, enjoy your life and enjoy what you're doing.

Straving yourself is actually the worse thing you can do and it can give you health issues for the rest of your life, Eating healthly is a good idea and excerise is another thing you could try. I do trampolining which has really toned my legs, it's basically whatever works for you
