Uhhmm I was wondering if Tales of the Abyss will have a upcoming season 2.
I think the ending was kinda bad because I think the one who returned back was Asch not Luke, come to think of it Luke
is "synchronized" with Asch. Too bad for Tear. T__T In the ending he is making a sad kinda face and his voice
is kinda like Asch's so something's fishy...

To answer the question. No, there is absolutely no chance of another season. For once, they actually did go through the entire story of the game, and the ending is pretty much the same as that in the game. I will, however, note that you picked the LEAST common interpretation of the end :p
The only additional material that could be covered is what they skipped (such as side quests), so a full TV series is a non-starter. At best, you might see some OVAs, but even that's unlikely.
Instead, the next Tales game (Vesperia) is getting animated as well. A prequel movie will come out in October.
At first I thought that this was about an announcement. I'm glad it wasn't. I wish they would scrap what they've done with Symphonia and animate it properly. Even finishing it would make me happy.
