x_x this is the 3rd time i am writing this announcement. the 1st time, browser closed. 2nd time, it closed and i didnt
even click the X button. So please understand if I am going a bit too fast with this.
1st of all, EXAMS: For the month of May, no points will be removed out of
inactivity. That's right! No points will be taken away. Gotta go somewhere for the rest of the month? You don't
need to tell me. So basically,
The whole month of May, no points removed. By * June 1st *, things r normal and point
removal will be enabled again.
Now that that's FINALLY out of the way.. -_- (3rd time writing this people. 3rd time)
I will now announce the next event. It is NOT a contest. So keeping track of u 100% will not be required. What's more, it revolves around things u usually do already. So it shouldn't be too hard. And if time concerns u, well no fear. You have the whole month. The event will end on * June 8th *. Complete details for the event is below. :3 And the name of this event is "NET COM". Yes, it's a U N I T Y event.
Title : NET COM (Internet Communication)
EVENT STARTS : Today, 5/17/2009
EVENT ENDS : 6/8/2009 it'll be over.
Activity : I will put up a To-Do list of some sort in this thread. (and if i can, another one in the UNITY event section of the group page/content). You are to do what's on the list with a member of MT or someone from our group. You are not limited to doing what's on the list with one person. And you're not limited to doing what's on the list with one person "at a time". However, to be a valid participant, u can't do all of these activities by urself. >.<; Else it doesn't count. srry. This activity's purpose is to make more bonds and help members find new ways to enjoy themselves with others over the internet.
POINTS
Participating in Event : +50 pts
Completing Event With A Member of the Group : +25 pts
Completing Event With More than One Person : +10 pts per EXTRA person.
- Meaning, not counting the 1st partner/team mate u have. But starting with the second, it adds up +10.
- You can do one activity on the list with one person and then do the next with another person to earn the extra
+10.
- You can do one or more activities with 2 other people or more at the same time to earn the extra +10 pts. [Example:
Billy, Joe, and Humpty Dumpty decided to do every activity together. OR Sammy, Greg, Sandy, and Jill decided to do an
activity from the list together.] U DO NOT need to limit the number of people u
do an activity from the list OR the event as a whole with. NO RULES to the number of people. As long as u r not doing
the event by urself.
Completing an activity in the 2-DO List that has a " * " next to it :
+10pts You get bonus 10 points for each " * " u do. However,
activities with a " * " requires proof that u did it. XD

___ Watch a movie, dorama, or anime episode together online.
Explanation: YouTube, Veoh, etc. has plenty anime and movies available
online to watch. D: yeah, it's not illegal cuz apparently you tube, veoh, etc. doesn't delete them unless it somehow
breaches contract, the people who originally licensed it say no, or yeah.. it's licensed in america. So if u see the
video up there on the site then whever. So basically, watch a video on either imeem, you tube, veoh, crunchyroll <-
which happens to be very strict about illegal showing of the vids so this is most safe, or aol video. In case of illegal
activity, u can't watch it anywhere else. srry. >.<;
To Make Sure: I will need a link to the video u watched submitted in
this thread. And admins of MT out there, if u see there's a problem with this then I'll remove it.

HOW TO : Log onto ur instant messenger, give someone the link and then
watch the same video together at as much the same time as possible xD I've tried it and it works! It's a lot of fun! I
did it all the time with a certain someone that I miss oh so much. -__-
___ Reading a manga with someone together online.
Explanation: Read a manga together with someone at the same time. You
don't need to read at the same pace. But reading the same volume of the same manga with someone while communicating to
that very person on instant messenger can be a lot of fun. xD especially for the "OMG" moments that show up.
There are plenty of manga sites available out there. How you get to it is up to you. Apparently most manga are legal to
be read because it's fan translated. And yes, translations are usually wrong, has bad misunderstood grammar, or just
plain sux eggs. Lesson?: Buy it instead. LOL but since u can't tell the other person online to go buy the book, u can
search for a site like manga fox that has it available. I suggest u try a large community manga site. Most of them do
not approve nor have illegal manga on their site. Even if it's illegal, as long as ur not the one who put it up u won't
be caught. But if ur like me, u'd want to play it safe and read only what is legal XD Doing this also helps support the
manga-ka we luv back in Japan. Ganbatte. Manga can't be hentai. =.=

I think it's against MT to put up links for this on the site so I won't. However, I can give u hints on where to go and
where not to go. baka-updates is immensely huge. And most of the translators they support take down previous volumes and
chapters that have been licensed anyway. They mostly have manga and doujinshi that u haven't or will never see in
america. however, they also have a large supply of hentai. O_O;
Another is MangaFox. We've all seen their annoying ads at least once in our lives. So surely if they were doing illegal
activity they wouldn't be rubbing their ads in our faces.
HOW TO: Open ur instant messenger. Pick a manga or chapter together that
u haven't read yet. Then read it while discussing the manga.

Explanation: Play the game "Alteil" against a friend. Doesn't
matter how many times u do it. Doing it at least once gets u a yay! And as proof, I'll need to see a screenshot of u
fighting against team mate. When u r fighting and the game pops up to show u versus someone else, I will need you to
click "Prnt Scrn" on ur keyboard. Then open Paint or image editor and click "Edit"
"Paste". Then save it and post it here. Thankies. X3

convorsation. Ur fav scene. What happened that made u laugh, that made u squeel, whatever. XD Pick a good quote from the
convo and copy / paste into notepad and save it so u can post it here. OR u can screenshot it.

FEW MINOR RULES
1) for each subject in the activity, even the dress-up roleplay, u must follow the rules written on the groups' page.
2) concerning dress-up roleplay: only those of T-A-S status can have a power. Until their power is completely approved and explained to me, u cannot use it.
3) no porn. -__- picture, video, and manga for the activities cannot be porn/hentai. else it doesn't count.
4) u cannot do these activities by urself. else it doesnt count.
5) u can do each activity as many times as u like and earn the stated points again. however, for those that require proof, u have to have a new set of proof for each time. no cheating. xD
6) team member MUST be someone from MT. u can have as many team members as u like.
7) DO NOT submit anything to me for this event by PM (private message) or as an offline message on MSN. u must post everything in this thread. NOT in the group guestbook. IN THIS announcement thread. else i won't notice it. -.-;
8) u r not limited to being a part of 1 team. u can also be part of other member's little teams and earn extra points as if u were repeating an activity being hosted by u, urself.
*9)* IMPORTANT: Please let me know who
your team members were for each activity u do. This is so I can add the +10 and add the +25 for it being a member of our
group. And I can't read minds so yes, u need to tell me. xD

u wont see me too often until the end of my exams so i won't be able to participate til l8r. if u would like to complete
an activity with me, i'd be glad to. but i have exams first so u'll have to wait. nonetheless, please try inviting other
buddies u have on MT to complete this with u in the mean time. Or better yet, work together with each other, ur fellow
members & tomodachis of the-aikuchi-squad group! I'll be glad to do them again with u when I can!
