Favorite attack in a game.

90-98 percent of games have at least one violent attack in it. Even "Brain Age" where you "attack" a problem. Lol.

So whats your favorite special move or moves a character or characters had executed in video games? If possible give a reason why you like it so much so a mod won't shut down this thread. "Favorite" threads are considered meaningless unless you post reasons.

When I was a kid, my favorite attack was Mario (Super Mario 64) jumping on his enemies head. I thought it a funny attack.

I don't play as much as I use to but my last and current favorite attack is Dante's stinger from DMC4.

When I was younger my favorite attack was Super Nova from Sephiroth in Final Fantasy 7. I mostly liked the move because it was just so epic and did unbelievable damage. Granted it never helped me beat him XD.

But now, my favorite attacks are the ancient magic spells used by the Black Mage, and the helix spells used by the Scholar, in Final Fantasy 11. Not only do they both do tons of damage, but the animations used for them look cool too :).

Yea I'm a Final Fantasy fan if you haven't guessed lol.

When nothing makes sense, I'll fight believing only in myself.

^ The supernova. When I first saw that attack, I freaked out. Lol. It was certainly epic. I thought he killed my group because when it was finished the damage points merged making one HUGE number. But when he did it again the planets came back only to be destroyed again. Haha.

I'd like to add Kimahri's jump overdrive from Final Fantasy X since you mentioned the FF series.

my reasons are obvious if you watch the movie... this has been the downfall of many gamers.
i find it near impossible not to laugh when you watch this... just cause, total domination.

I also love Ryu's hadouken from street fighter, it's just such a classic!

My favorite in a game is in rpg type, as in GF summons and limit breaks(FF8) and you'll see the damage numbers are 9999 or more,and super combo arcade attacks like in Marvel VS Capcom(life meter usually reduced by half or more). It's very very awesome to watch those even I'm not playing the game. Of course it's much better if I can do it myself during the game.

When i was young i thought my favorite attack was the ifrit summon in final fantasy 7 for some reason it really made me think he was awesome because he usually killed everything in sight.

Breath of Fire 3 - Ryu's Bonebreak (Terabreak) skill. Attack Power x2, ignores enemy target's Defense.

Only drawbacks are that it's a single target move, and that it refreshes for use only after around 3 hours of game time... But I just love having a move that deals a heinous ton of damage to enemies that shrug off most of your normal attacks!

Id say any stealth kill in assassin's creed. I love altair when he would come up and stab them and walk away like nothing happened. One of the best things I seen in a game. Also In any of the Legend of Zelda games where Link stabbed Ganon in the head with his sword. (Both mine are about people being stabbed. weird lol)

my favorite? Escape! only if i'm playing a slow-paced game. otherwise, i'd have to say that Divide and Leveler from Lost Odyssey are my favorite moves.

usually cuz my impatience manifests in the games that i play, which are almost all RPGS. when i don't feel like fighting, just make an epic run for it. no shame in my game.
