A few weeks ago, my friend came back from missing school. She told me some shocking news: she was suicidal and tried to kill herself. She drank contact lens solution, as well as other chemicals. Luckily though, her attempts failed. Right now she's heading towards a good recovery, but the news is still hard to swallow. I could have lost a good friend of mine (I remember bawling my eyes out when she told me that).
Which leads to the question: Is contact lens solution poisonous (to the point where it kills you when you drink it)?
I mean, my friend survived (which I was really happy for); however, she never told me if she had to go to emergency or anything. So now, I'm beginning to question if drinking contact lens solution was an effective way of suicide.
