KNBC has just received word that Michael Jackson, the controversial King of Pop has died at UCLA Medical Center at the age of 50. At the same time, 1970s sex symbol Farrah Fawcett, the former Charlie's Angel has died of cancer at the age of 62.
Yes The sad Truth has come out.
Disregarding his personal life, Michael Jackson was an amazing artist. His songs are pretty much the soundtrack to my childhood. A sad day for the music industry... we're not likely to see another man like MJ for a long time.
And as for Farrah, what an inspirational woman. Her heyday was before my time, but just seeing her strength and courage in these past few years really made me respect her.
I'm sad to say that I barely know Farrah at all... but Michael Jackson's death left me nearly in tears. It's been an incredibly bittersweet day for me.

I would've never thought that when I came home yesturday that we would lose our KING OF POP. Yes he had his many ups and downs durring his career but he"s only human we all have our flaws. He was so young, honestly I thought that Michael would live for many more years to come. But to find out that he was gone from this place, it really hurts. I love his music and I always will, I could never forget Michael Jackson. And I'm sure I'm not alone when I say "Thank you so much Michael, you have made such an impact on everyone's lives around the world. Your body may not be with us any longer, but you still live on through your music. Your voice, your face, your beautiful soul will forever be embedded in our hearts and mind Michael. To you Michael we give are thanks. may you forever rest in peace with no more worries and heartache, because you are now in a better place, we are still living on 'hell-on-earth'. Although I never really knew much about Farrah Faucet, I heard that she was an icon amongsst many women, with her striking beauty and the unforgettable big hair. May you rest in peace as well Farrah, we'll alwayslove you, R.I.P.

MJ.. well, I agree with fly-chan. Disregarding his personal life, he was an amazing artist. ANd a Pioneer in a lot of ways. One can't deny that.
What I feel most is that his last days could have been a bit less sad. I don't think he was very happy before he died... its so sad, that, the last part of his life was so not what should have been, that i think was the bigger tragedy, to his fans and to him.
( there are too many people dying these days... >.< )
I will NEVER forget the King of Pop. He was one of the greatest artists in the music world, and his works will be remembered for generations to come. Although Micheal Jackson had his ups and downs, he was awesome!

As strange as it is to hear this, but I actually thought I would die before Michael, and I'm only 18, I never did drugs or anything, so I have no reason to die....But this is unbelievable. I still don't believe this is going on....Miss you Mike, I'll see you again...

I thought so as well. I always thought that Michael would live longer than I would and I'm only 19. So to find out that
he actually died it was like time had stopped, I was stunned. Why do the good die young.
On a side note they're casting suspisions on Michael's personal (and in-home) doctor. Saying that his actions on that was very suspicious.

the notice of his death made a lot of people that i know feel really sad, for other side, the jokes are alredy starting @_ but, the death of two stars at the same time seens to be a great coincidence,no? o_O

i was sad cause Farrah died, she was a doll. and not to mention THE hottie on charlie's angels.
I'm not a Jackson fan though, i loved some of his music, Acctually alot of it. but i just ignored the rest of his life. Good music and dance, thats all. But i;ll miss farrah.

I don't really know anything much about Farrah Fawcett, all I know she was in Charlie's Angels.
For Micheal Jackson, besides of having a controversial life, he was a musical genius and the King of Pop.

The music videos had awesome dance moves, especially the Smooth Criminal video, with the gravity defining dance move. For the song, Will you be there, is a childhood song burned in my head from watching the movie Free Willy.

Like many here, I was I would die before Michael Jackson. In fact, I didn't think that Michael Jackson could die...
It is the end of an era. I was as surprised as everyone else that Michael Jackson, a constant media fixture since as far back as I can remember, is suddenly just . . . gone. I never even thought about the possibility of that happening. He was always there.
In many ways, this feels much like 9/11 did for me. It's hard to even respond. I'm not grieving or depressed, but it just feels like something that's always been there is suddenly missing, and I know I'll never get it back.
Yeah his music was good. I don't really believe the pedophile thing but anything can be possible :P

Actually if one did a research on Michael Jackson's life, you'll find a wealth of information that he is innocent. Just
dig a bit, and you'll find them.
I started researching a lot about him after his death, because i am curious about the truth. I started off with a
neutral mindset because I was quite indifferent about the whole thing.
Now i can proudly say i am a fan of Michael Jackson, as an artist AND as a man. He is a man i'll always look up
to.
It's sad how the media is hellbent on making Michael Jackson look bad because that's where they get profits. Rating is
King, i suppose.
Michael jackson's life is as clean as the person next door, if not better.
