recent years the quality or the concept of Japanese anime is decending...
while manga is still doing not bad.

It depends... the manga stories are better in most cases, but if the anime story is as good (or if it follows the manga storyline well), I preffer it over the manga.

Anime is usually adapted from Manga (or Video Games) but the Anime version usually miss out on alot of dialogues and content (Or they actually changed the entire plot by quite a bit)
But Anime is more intense and you can actually see the characters moving and all (I have to admit,I don't get some scenes at times.)

I prefer Anime, i like animation and special fx on Series,also it gives me more feeling when i see animated characters than just read, but Manga have more context and content than anime series.

I really prefer manga... it gives you always more informations and magaka are so skillfull that there's no need of sound or motion. But I admit that sometimes there's a big lack of colors !

I know i can't survive watching an anime without love but.... at the same time i can't watch anime without humour and fighting. XD

if an anime i like to watch fighting or mecha genre like gundam and if manga i like love story.so i think both is better

I personally prefer manga. There are so many anime that, firstly, change the original storyline and that bugs me but not as much as when anime just gets sloppy. Any anime for a manga that has more than 20 volumes tends to turn into mush. Bleach is an excellent example. Shoddy animation and terrible filler arcs abound. It's just frustrating, especially when the manga is so well drawn and interesting.

Nonetheless I choose manga..
I may just be new on readig mangas, but i prefer them more than animes it just most animes came from mangas and these animes taken from mangas have been edited big time and some of these animes tend to be finished yet their manga story continues..

Well i think it depends on the individual's preference.
For me i fancy both anime and manga as both of them has their good points and bad points ( lol in a way )
Anime is exciting as you are able to see the characters come to life and heari their "voices" and you even get to hear background music complementing the anime.
Manga is also nice as your get to see the details of the character designs and you can refer back to a certain page of the manga when the story give hints of certain scenes etcetc... and you can imagine their voices in you head.. lol

Sometimes the fact that some anime's are manga-based and that they changed the storyline so and so or perhaps added in characters that there were not suppose to be there really disappoints me.

I don't try to compare the two, really, because they serve two different purposes and audiences. I enjoy reading; I also enjoying watching stories come to life through animation. When I'm in the mood for one, I'm not necessarily in the mood for another. So at any given moment in time, the anime or the manga version of something might seem "better" to me.

In this sense, it's not unlike asking, "Which is better, spaghetti or hamburgers?" Depending on a person's tastes, their mood at the moment, the skill of the cook preparing the dishes, the freshness of the ingredients, and the atmosphere of the restaurant or home where they are served, either one could be considered "better" than the other. There are too many factors to allow a generalized comparison.

Both have their perks (i like manga more)
Manga 1 it's fun to read 2 it's original 3 story is more detailed
Anime 1 it's also fun 2 it's based on manga but it's tweaked a little here and there and somtimes have bad filer like in naruto 3op ed songs are nice and ost 4fight scean are cool
and the list goes on but the point is Both have their perks
If u do not read manga give it a shot
