What I'm pretty bummed about is a series called Dragon Voice, by Yuriko Nishiyama. Tokyopop stopped licensing ONE volume from the end. There's only one book left and they dropped it. I don't really understand why they do things like that....
Anyone else read this series? Or heard any other news?

never heard of it but I rarely read manga....but tokyopop is famous for this

That's pretty crummy. You'd think that they would carry a series all the way to the end. And if it's not selling, then maybe that would be reason to reassess the license. However, when there's only ONE volume left in the series, that's pretty lame to me.

They seriously did that?! Ugh! I already have volumes one to eight and I don't want to wait for some other company to take over so I can get the final volume. I'm so disappointed now... :(
Yeah, no kidding. And the thing is, it'll probably be forever until another company picks it up, if they ever do... Grr. Highly frustrating.
