If any of you guys didn't know, a second season was announced months ago. Awesome news! Not to mention, Sengoku Basara 3 has been announced for a release in spring 2010 for PS3 and Wii! It takes place a year after SB2, with Ieyasu fully grown up and not a kid anymore. He's the main character along with a new character, Ishida Mitsunari. There will be many more characters, and the story starts off with Ieyasu trying to be the main unifier, trying to over throw Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Akechi Mitsuhide succeeded in killing Nobunaga.
Of course Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura make their return, with some bad news...
Masamune has suffered his first loss, which was to Mitsunari Ishida, and it looked like he had a very easy time doing it looking at the scans...
Yukimura has lost his great Oyakata-sama, becoming the great general of the takeda, taking charge in the real battles with Ieyasu.
With this in mind, it seems Masamune is great friends with Ieyasu, and seem to want to help each other out. Mitsunari Ishida hates Ieyasu and wants him dead, so it's obvious Masamune would side with Ieyasu. Yukimura hates Ieyasu and seems to be siding with Mitsunari Ishida... so it might end up having our precious Yukimura fighting Masamune...
There has been many changes to the game, as its hinted we can now use 3 or more skills at once! Yay! The second season is supposed to start up around when SB3 comes out, to promote it. So look forward to spring with loads of new Sengoku Basara stuff! What do you guys think about all this?
