Well, I like to do such a survey in all communties I'm in, and it's fun to see how many pianos and guitars there are. I don't know if it's the right place to post this, but let's just try.

Do you play any instrument (learnt by yourself or not) ? I play the piano (learnt by myself, I made two videos : Tabi no tochuu (Spice and wolf opening) and You (from Higurashi) ) and I recently bought a violin (I had it two days ago actually).

I'll try to have a list of all instruments played.

Piano : 19
Violin : 8
organ : 2
guitar : 15
mandolin : 2
Drums : 6
Clarinet : 1
harmonica : 1
flute : 3
Saxophone : 1
clarinet : 1
oboe : 1
ocarina : 1
cello : 1
shamisen : 1
koto : 1
trumpet : 1
harp : 1
tuba : 1
trombone : 1
xylophone : 1

(and by the way, if there are people who play violin, I'd like to have some advice, it'd be really helpful).

Piano, had lessons for 12 years... it's the main instrument I play obviously...

Everything in the mandol family (Mandolin, Mandola, Mandocello... never got to play the mandobass though. :P)
had lessons for 3 months on Mandolin, ultimately ended preferring Mandola after experimenting with the other two.

flute, ocarina, recorder, fife, percussion stuff (in concert band... mostly timpani and mallet percussion), ukulele. these were self-taught.

and while I don't claim to be able to play any of these, I can at least get a decent tune after a bit of wankering: cello, guitar, theremin, musical saw, banjo. XD and I can at least get a single decent note out of pretty much anything else, though I don't know if that's all that special.

I don't know anything about how to play bowed instruments like violin, but string instruments in general are rather similar and easy to pick up if you can play one of them, and that bowing and plucking are surprisingly similar though have many different nuances (of course).

THERE ARE SECRETS WHERE FAIRIES DON'T LIVE.

No I don't play any instruments, I wish I played guitar though, cause I think if you can play the guitar right, you can be a great and possible legend at it.
