Well, you haven't mentioned which ones you LIKED. That would help us tailor the recommandations. I'd suggest CANAAN, just beware that it's ongoing so you will have to wait quite a bit for the end. ;) Other recs: Darker than Black, which will get a second season in the following months, Soul Eater (except awful, awful ending), Toshokan Sensou, Ga-Rei - Zero.

Code Geass : ) at first I wasn't so sure about it, but if you like Gundam and Death Note you should like Code Geass too.

sword of the stranger is good, texhnolyze, samurai x, blood+, hellsing, hellsing ultimatum (you probably know it as ova), vampire hunter d bloodlust, wolf's rain, witch hunter robin, devil may cry...without knowing what you're into I can't really help any, I like mostly horror and action so if the gore/violence bothers you I might as well fall sort although gintama is too too funny and chi's sweet home is so cute...

Since you liked Clannad, you should try out Air (the TV series) and Kanon (the 2006 version). All three shows are done by the same studio and have a similar look and feel. :)

I also second angelxxuan's recommendations for Sword of the Stranger and Wolf's Rain, since you liked Fullmetal Alchemist.

And lastly, try out Ouran High School Host Club. I often find that people who enjoyed Fruits Basket really liked Ouran as well.

black blood brothers is another one...oh man the list the list -_- hehe if you can find it darksite blues, it's an older one...now if you're wanting to get into the unique art then try count of monte cristo it's under a different name the japanese name is Gankutsuou I have never found any other artwork like this, trinity blood...there I go again sorry I don't know cute stuff...although A Little Snow Fairy Sugar was adorable I was hooked on that within ten minutes of watching it ^_^

Definitely check out Wolf's Rain and Ouran High School Host Club. Also you may like D.Gray-man if you liked Fullmetal (speaking of which, make sure to check out the new series =)). Hmm, other good ones are NANA, Chrno Crusade and Full Metal Panic! (plus FMP? Fumoffu and FMP: The Second Raid).

There's also Skip Beat! and Vampire Knight. They're nice, but continued in the manga only.
