yea it's suppose to start up again sometime this fall...it is suppose to follow the manga more than whatever they did to the anime the first time around

It will start on October 3 an will be called "Inuyasha:The final act". It has 26 episodes, based on the last 21 volumes. :D :D I can`t wait. Oh, and it has the same staff.

To clarify, the first Inuyasha TV series has seven seasons in total. So this newest addition to the Inuyashaverse would technically be season 8.

it's only for 26 eps? the first series covers like 30something volumes and is 167 eps long.... well okay, a lot of that was filler, but still, doesn't seem like 26 eps will be enough to cover the later half of the story ^^;

I've been waiting for this. I had to read the manga just so I could find out what happened. lol I have to say that the manga turned out to be a good read though. Hopefully the animation style will be similar to the first series.

Viz announced yesterday that they will be simulcasting the show sub-titled on hulu.com starting this Saturday \(^_^)/
I don't know when a dub will be released, but it probably won't be long.

I personally hope the series lasts longer than 26 episodes, but either way I'm thrilled!

But the manga ended like over a year ago, and the series was dragging way too long.
I don't think they really should bring up the anime again, but since a lot of people like it so far, I guess I'll give it a try.

when my friends told me about Inuyasha the final act i got all hyper XD
I was overjoyd >w< (Inu is my fav anime/manga this far)

But i also discovered that rumiko takahashi (she that wrote inuyasha) has made a NEW
manga! Its called Rinne and the firt book of that serie came out the 20th october!

the animation, seiyuus and some of staff remains the same
