You know the kind of guy I am. I am the smart nerdy guy that has nothing going for him and is on the academic team. The guy that hates stupidity and watches anime all the time. I am that guy. I mean I hope it is possible and I just need some support. Oh and to all those prick jocks. Go screw yourself I don;t care what you think. You might think you are cool but there are a hell of a lot more people like me, that hates you for being a cocky jack***, then likes you for being a fake "cool" guy.

As for whether or not you'll find the girl of your dreams, it really depends on your expectations and how willing you are to put yourself out there. Sitting at home watching anime, I don't think you're going to have many opportunities to meet girls face to face. Try expanding your horizons... take a ballroom dancing class (usually FULL of females) or some other kind of class that interests you. You never know where you'll find that special girl. ^_^

Girls usually like a guy who takes the initiative... ^_~

High school, is such a small part of you're life. 80% of the time you won't meet the girl of 'you're dreams'. Once you have that big promotional job, and and in university...you'll find a smart girl that will love you and admire what you have done and the accomplishes you have made in you're life. you WILL find someone, trust me.

Why isn't it possible? All you have to do is not care what your social status is and other people's social status and just be yourself. There are plenty of girls out there that like a guy for who he is, not what other people think of him. If you do find a girl you're interested, show her your true self - the qualities and personality you possess and you may be surprise that girl loves all of you. Don't let the jocks put you down about your 'status', see past that, stand up straight, head high and walk the path you were meant to and find the girl that one day will love you for who you are.

I can think about Cindy Crawford, doesn't mean I can have her. Don't go searching for one. If you meet someone you're interested in, talk to her. Be yourself, give hints that you're interested, and don't be afraid to ask her out. Try to be confident. What helps me, don't approach her expecting a long-term relationship. Take your time and be prepared to accept that failure is a possibility. No one's perfect.

well, my friends boyfriends brother is like a super nerdy, intelligent guy who has two degrees, physics and calculus, and he watches anime all the time, and she was telling me that when she first met him, she could see him getting a lot of chicks, because girls dig intelligence, whether they admit that or not, so I really think you should be able to get the girl, good things come to those who wait. Speaking of which, I have a friend who is kind of smart, and she is looking for somebody. She is a college grad, steady job, dog lover. let me know and I will hook it up for you....

Rather than answer your question directly, I'll just give you something to think about.

What happens after you get the girl of your dreams? Will life be "happily ever after"?
You get married and have the most awesome honey moon....
Fast forward a few years later...you've got kids that keep you awake all night, a stressful or time-consuming job, responsibilities to your kids & wife (both financial and time-wise)...and dreams you wanted to achieve but seem to have pushed aside...

The idea of the "girl of your dreams" is but a fantasy that the mind creates. How many times have we gotten things we wanted so badly only to be disappointed later? Divorce rates have sky-rocketed and people chase fantasies that let them down when they see reality.

Take that first scenario again, this time it was not with the "girl of your dreams" that you initially loved at first sight. It was with a girl you got to know first as a friend...and with time felt attracted to lightly, and you seemed to enjoy spending time with each other. She became quite pretty in your eyes, yet other people tell you she looks quite normal. The more time you spend with each other the more you help each other grow. You don't both "sacrifice" everything just to be together, rather you understand one another, and help each other one step at a time to reach your dreams. You fight sometimes, you get annoyed of each other sometimes, but you communicate and understand each other which helps you grow fond of each other even more. You may stay together till the end of your lives...or maybe not.

I'll end my rambling with a quote by Helen Keller...a woman who turned deaf & blind before turning 2 years old.
