when i am alone i tend to cook for myself...but i don't cook easy/simple things...i love to cook, have been cooking since the age of 11 so i tend to like to learn to cook things...like learning japanese food :P chinese was easy compared to some of the japanese stuff...finally got tofu mastered :P but it's rather fun to cook...there's really nothing i haven't cooked before...i tend to like to experiment with cooking as well, not all turn out well but they mostly do

I used to study in the US a while back with my older brother. I was studying abroad and we used to take turns cooking and cleaning dishes! I found that cooking was a really nice way to relieve stress, even cleaning out stingy pots which required a lot of force was helpful in releasing stress after exams!

My brother was going for his PhD while I was going for my Bachelors...funny thing he was cooking more often than me >.>

This is what I usually made:

Breakfast
Pancakes
French Toast
Balaleet (Sweet saffron pasta) with Omelet (it's an Arabic dish)

Lunch/Dinner
Japanese chicken curry with rice
Red & Green Thai Curry (OMG, so AWESOME!) with Jasmine Rice
Biryani (Indian/Arabic spicy dish with rice)
Mac n Cheese
Broiled Spiced Salmon
Baked Chicken with stuffing

There were some other dishes I used to make but just can't remember...
