Back from my honeymoon traveral, i was looking for a most useful and powerful image encryption software which can encrypt my pictures. i have tried several picture encryption software, however, they all have to compress or decompress the pictures. is there a picture encryption software which can see the encrypted pictures freely without uncompressing?

what do mean by protecting exactly?

reading you seems to say you just want to encrypt files, not only pictures. Lots of tools and free ones can let you do that.

Best way to protect is still not to share on the web at all ;-) Accept the risk and you'll be fine. Safest will be to give hand to hand by Cd/DVD/HDD your pictures. Thinking people wanting to steal your pictures supposes your photos are great to be stolen or reproduced but so far, I know none that's worth it. But I do agree we are not at shelter of nothing in this world.
